Statement by SoftPaleColors (for arbcom case against MONGO Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/MONGO)

MONGO has used wikistalking on me (and looking at his block log, many many victims) to ban them forever. I was banned for eternity 28 days ago by MONGO and still I received no warning. His entire false reasoning for the block was done by stalking me via my contributions. He banned me because I am a lurker. The real reason to me is that User:Hipocrite is MONGO's sockpuppet. User Hipocrite also wikistalks.

Furthermore, I see that MONGO has a tendency to edit articles that he has a personal involvement in. The whole encyclopedia dramatica issue, while the article needed to have personal attacks removed and I feel the article (and website) should have not been created in the first place, he should have been something he turned it over to another administrator.

During his whole time being an administrator, he has pushed his personal feelings onto conspiracy articles. He states here that he works for Homeland Security and he states his Point of View. I feel that the administrative tools serve only harm in his hands and he should reliquish them. SoftPaleColors 18:40, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't care if this sleeper account is unblocked, but review the contributions of this editor and my reasons for the block [1]. As a side note, Hipocrite is not my sock.--MONGO 20:43, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your block

I do not believe MONGO's current arbitration case is the appropriate place to post your complaint. The case grew out of actions relating to Encyclopedia Dramatica; your block arose from something different. I think the best thing to do is to post a request for block review at the administrators' noticeboard. You can do this from SoftPale or write something here and I will copy it over for you. To get a fair review, you will probably need a reasonable explanation for your contribution history. You certainly look like a sleeper account, and MONGO's suspicion that you are up to no good is well-founded; however whether you should have been banned outright or warned first is a question about which reasonable people might disagree. I will watch here for your response. Thatcher131 (talk) 20:45, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
