Citation templates
Are you using some kind of bot to complete citation templates? If so, it is unreliable. For example, in this edit you added:

- I have never used Visual Editor. So I do not know how someone completes citation templates using it.
- If you want to use the editor I use, go to Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-editing and tick "Temporarily disable the visual editor while it is in beta".
I have no idea whether this is better or worse than editing in Visual Editor. - There is something called the "2010 wikitext editor". I have never used that either. You can activate that using Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-editing and ticking "Enable the editing toolbar".
- If you want to use the editor I use, go to Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-editing and tick "Temporarily disable the visual editor while it is in beta".
- I prefer to complete citation templates manually. (I knew there is a bot tool called reflinks, but it makes the kind of mistakes you made, so I wrongly assumed that you were using it.)
- I know from experience that it is really easy to make mistakes, particularly with templates and markup. So I use the "show preview button" a lot, and with stuff that is easy to get wrong I often do a diff after I have made my edit to check my edit for errors.
- If you know you are making a type of mistake, actively look for it, and experiment with correcting it. User sandbox pages are good for experimenting with different ways of doing things (for example: User:Shobha/Sandbox 1, User:Shobha/Sandbox 2).-- Toddy1 (talk) 12:12, 4 October 2020 (UTC)
