DYK for Jack Brooksbank

On 8 December 2018, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Jack Brooksbank, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Jack Brooksbank, husband of Princess Eugenie of York, was not given a peerage following his marriage, as there is no general precedent in Britain for a commoner to be given one on marrying a princess? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Jack Brooksbank. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Jack Brooksbank), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Wedding of Princess Margaret

Hi Richiepip. I was wondering if you were interested in creating a separate article about the wedding of Princess Margaret. You had done a wonderful job in creating similar articles about the weddings of Prince Edward and Princess Alexandra, and since you're interested in topics related to royalty I thought maybe I should bring this into your attention. Let me know what your response it. Stay safe :) Keivan.fTalk 06:36, 11 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Keivan.f. Thank you for your kind remarks about my wedding articles! I have just finished Princess Margaret's and will be publishing it now. Thanks again and stay safe:) Richiepip (talk) 20:02, 12 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Trinity United Church (Peterborough, Ontario)

Hello, Richiepip,

Thank you for creating Trinity United Church (Peterborough, Ontario).

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

The first three references in this article go to a wikipedia article. So notability - and the history of this church - are not established. Only the proposed merger and calling off of the merger are noted in references. So I now have to direct you to WP:SIGCOV - to satisfy this or the article may not merit inclusion. Kindly do the needful.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Whiteguru}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

An article you recently created, St. Martin-in-the-Fields Anglican Church, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 16:08, 7 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Wedding of Jean-Christophe, Prince Napoléon, and Countess Olympia von und zu Arco-Zinneberg

Notice

The article Wedding of Jean-Christophe, Prince Napoléon, and Countess Olympia von und zu Arco-Zinneberg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

As the initial author of this article, I agree that this event is not notable enough for its own article.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 24 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Women in Red

Hi there, Richiepip. I'm sorry to see you have deleted the WiR template from your user page. I find this surprising, particularly as seven of your most recent creations are informative articles about women. If you are interested in continuing to support the project, you might like to maintain the WiR tag and sign up under "New registrations" on Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red/New members. Remember that the kind of work you are doing also contributes to inspiring more users to write about women. In any case, I look forward to reading many more of your new creations. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 06:19, 5 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop doing this over and over and over. Their article names and the contents there should help you stop it. Best wishes, SergeWoodzing (talk) 18:26, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello SergeWoodzing, I am well aware of the article title and the contents of it, thank you. I am also well aware that the guest list for Crown Princess Victoria's wedding published by the Royal Court, refers to Marianne as "Countess Marianne Bernadotte af Wisborg." Nothing changed regarding their titles between the two weddings. I am also aware they also refer to Sigvard as "Count Sigvard Bernadotte" on their website as well. Your edit summary implies the Royal Court does not know how to properly address a member of the King of Sweden's family. I suggest we take this matter to the articles talk page as I do not wish for an edit war, but in the meantime, it is my belief we should defer to the Court's styling. I am not advocating for moving their articles or anything of the sort, I am simply following the formal writing used by the Royal Court, as we do on guest lists. Warm regards, Richiepip (talk) 21:18, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Apparently you are nor familiar with our guideline on edit warring or you would not continue to make this change without consensus. Consensus in a controversial matter is reached before any change is made to an article and after discussion in a talk page is complete. --SergeWoodzing (talk) 11:11, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I am familiar and thus have not reverted more than three times. You are the one making a change to the article contrary to the way Sigvard and Marianne were listed in it since it was created in August 2020 without consensus. Richiepip (talk) 22:12, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, there. Hi thanks for creating this article. When we translate or borrow from other language wikis it’s a requirement to acknowledge the source. The best way to do this is to include it in your edit summary (e.g. “translated from de.wiki”) and there’s also a translation template you can add to the talk page. I’ve added it for you. Happy editing and please leave a message on my talk page if you need any help Mccapra (talk) 05:55, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

On 14 April 2024, In the news was updated with an item that involved the article Chryssie Lytton Cobbold, Baroness Cobbold, which you created and updated. If you know of another recently created or updated article suitable for inclusion in ITN, please suggest it on the candidates page. Stephen 22:29, 14 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
