RE:James Reiss

I deleted this article as the text was lifted from this website with only the most basic of style changes. As such, this breaches the copyright of the website and is also guilty of plagiarism.

Also, please note out guidelines on conflicts of interest and our guidelines on autobiographies and editing articles about yourself. Essentially, it is strongly discouraged to create or edit articles about yourself. I note from the history of the article that you made primarily stylistic changes, but it is still strongly discouraged. If you have any further questions please leave them on my talkpage under User talk:Woody#James Reiss. Thanks and regards, Woody (talk) 21:35, 24 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well, at first glance Wikipedia has no proof that you are James Reiss, nor that you own the copyright of that webpage. I checked the page history and I saw that he lifted directly from your website and that you made 13 edits to the article after that, adding wikilinks and making punctuation changes. You still need to be very careful of falling foul of autobiographies though.
Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for information on how to donate copyrighted materials to Wikipedia. I hope this helps, regards. Woody (talk) 22:26, 24 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

About your SmackBot Problem?

I just want to point out that it is not external links that make an article an orphan or not. For James Reiss to no longer be an orphan, there need to be internal wiki-links in other articles that point back to James Reiss. I think the threshold is 3 internal links but I am not sure. And the external links that were removed were removed here by XLinkBot. In fact SmackBot has not edited the article for more than a week. 75.69.0.58 (talk) 17:19, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
