Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism and are immediately reverted. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. - JPG-GR (talk) 00:34, 31 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

June 2008

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page WKHQ-FM do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.

The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: '[a-za-z][0-9]{2,}\.photobucket\.com/albums/.*\.jpg' . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image or a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file.

Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! XLinkBot (talk) 19:49, 3 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm with you

Both of us must be on JPG-GR's hit list of editors he doesn't like. The big question is, why!!! What did we do to make him such a defensive editor? I don't recall doing anything other than good faith edits to articles and then getting snapped at for no particular reason. Milonica (talk) 19:47, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Personal Attack

Please stop reverting the nonexistent personal attack you put on this page. See WP:RPA. If you continue posting the personal attack notice, which again, has no merit, then I will report you to an administrator. (Radio this has nothing to do with you).--Milonica (talk) 05:50, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Radiolbx. This message is being sent to inform you that there currently is a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding your recent personal attacks on my talkpage. The discussion can be found under the topic WP:ANI#User:Radiolbx. Yours, --JPG-GR (talk) 20:56, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Comment on content, not the contributor

Since the previous warnings have been removed by another editor, I'll leave this again; referring to editors in manners such as this is expressly against the no personal attack policy; I suggest against referring to other editors as bullies, as well. If you're going to comment on an article, discuss the article, not the contributor involved. If you've got a problem with an editor, consider using dispute resolution. I'll try and look deeper into the issue here, and see if there's a need for further scrutiny; in the meantime, please avoid further personal attacks. Tony Fox (arf!) 21:03, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am fairly new to editing, but not to Wikipedia itself...it is not good for the site if the first time someone gets on the site, they get torn down based on someone's(JPG-GR) personal taste instead of info...I am an employee of the station who's page I feel was "vandalized" by JPG-GR when he removed something that was correct info. He also added info to one page that he removed from another saying it "had no place here" (paraphrase). He is to Wikipedia what ambulance chasers are to lawyers.Radiolbx

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
    and you must always:
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Business' FAQ. For more details about what constitutes a conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Conflict of Interest. Thank you. - JPG-GR (talk) 18:28, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Radio

Don't let yourself be intimidated. Stay around. We need more real editors like yourself on Wikipedia! I worked for a radio station awhile ago (KUGR) and didn't get attacked for editing it or creating it (watch, now I will). Don't let this bump in the road stop you from contributing to Wikipedia. Nobody is telling you you can't edit here any more even if it may seem that way. Milonica (talk) 18:56, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
