Irrellavant means just that, that it isn't important and doesn't need to be said. As it is, Syrus's feelings for DMG are not "hinted", he's an established fan of her before hand. And besides, his crush on her is not important. Chazz's love for Alexis becomes an important plot point later in the series, as with Banner's absence.
