I think you have substantially redefined the Front Range Urban Corridor. While America 2050 uses this term, the term is geographically inappropriate. The Front Range mountains only extend from about the 39th parallel north to the 41st parallel north. The Front Range is often confused with the Rocky Mountain Front.

There is currently very little urban area between Taos, New Mexico and Pueblo, Colorado. I think what you have described is more properly described as the Southern Rocky Mountains Piedmont or the Southern Rocky Mountain Front geographic area. (See also the Southern Rocky Mountains.)

If you want, I can move your revised article to the Southern Rocky Mountain Front and restore the Front Range Urban Corridor to its accepted definition.

Sorry about that. If my changes are not correct than I definitely need to fix it. Whether that is to undo all of the edits I made or to move the article it doesn't matter to me. If it is not a legitimate article then I don't see the point in moving it, but if the area is actually defined by geographic terms then lets move it, otherwise we can just delete my edits. I don't want to leave something on Wikipedia that is incorrect.

I would agree. However when I spent sometime in Bishkek the residents that I interacted with referred to the districts as Leninskiy and so forth, not saying it is the official names or translation that's just what I knew them by. Perhaps you are from there and know better. I don't care how they are translated, whether from Kyrgyz or Russian I just think we need a solid source before changing it. Google maps is sort of like Open Source maps in that anyone can edit them and change the name of things. (I've actually named my own driveway and the trees around my house.) If you feel strongly about the names, I don't care if you use them as you did use a source and the other ones were not cited at all. Hi Pmelton87! Many many thanks for your edits to the Tajikistan page. I put in a lot of work on that page a few months ago and I'm really happy that someone has gone through it and touched it up a bit. I like what you've done. I was interested that you included the Pakistan-Afghanistan-Tajikistan infrastructure project in the country level article and not just the Transportation in Tajikistan article because I couldn't find very much information about that when I was researching. It seemed to me that that project hadn't really gotten off the ground. Conversely the projects being funding by China and Iran (roads, bridges and tunnels mostly) seem to be progressing. That's probably the only thing I noticed from your edits that seemed like it might need some additional consideration.

That said, please let me know what you think and I would be happy to partner with you on improving any of the other Tajik pages. E.g., improvements to Khujand, the second city, could be made in the areas of economy, geography or notable residents, there are some basic geographic pages that still don't exist for various sub-regions and towns across the country, and just about all of the main article pages that are linked to the Tajikistan page need improvement. Hey, sure I'd be happy to partner with you to improve various Tajik articles. I'm working on reviving the WikiProject:Tajikistan as a way for users to collaborate on improving Tajikistan related articles. It looks like the group was focused more on the culture and history of Tajikistan than the geography of the country; I'm more concerned with the latter myself.

As for the Pakistan-Afghanistan-Tajikistan infrastructure project we can just include that in the Transportation in Tajikistan rather than the main article, I was just trying to put some meat in to the main article and that is what I found at the time. You are right though China and Iran are doing more infrastructure projects so we may want to include more info on that. The section is far from done. I am trying to improve the Tajikistan article to a B class or GA Class, it has a long ways to go yet so I am open to any ideas and improvements.Pmelton87 (talk) 13:43, 10 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Great! I'm really glad to hear this. I'm ready to get started on the Tajikistan article. I wrote most of the history section myself (took almost a whole day) but I don't think I changed very much in the post-independence section so maybe that's a good place for me to start. Are you interested in taking the Economy section (it's a big one)? I also worked on the education section a bit. That leaves Sports, Health, Demographics, Politics and Geography. Sports currently has no citations so that's a big problem but probably an easy section to write. Health isn't so bad and should be relatively easy to touch up. Demographics is a bit longer. Geography should be fairly strait forward. And Politics, I image will be fairly difficult to write due to the complexity of recent events like the civil war. I can probably take the Politics, and Health. I might be able to help with another section too but let me know what you think you might be able to do and we can go from there. Yeah, I know what you mean about it taking all day. Sure I'll work on the economy section. I've kinda been using the Bulgaria article as a template and looking at that one we could probably collapse some of the sections into one section (i.e. economy and infrastructure). Hi Pmelton87, the Eurasian Economic Union will launch on January 1 2015 with Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia as its members states. Tajikistan may join in the future. As you are interested in Central Asia, if I may I would like to ask you to assess or contribute to the article (by correcting any mistakes) if you have the time and wish to do so. We would like the article to be ranked as a Good Article (possibly featured) and be in perfect state before January 1. (This is purely voluntary although any help will be greatly appreciated).
