Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. Disambiguation link notification for October 25

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2023 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Haider Ali. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:00, 25 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Tables

Hi - please refrain from changing the format of cricket tables for world cup regional qualifiers. We have an agreed format that minimises notes. Qualification details are added when teams confirm their positions. Bs1jac (talk) 13:39, 28 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello! I'm StAnselm. Your recent edit(s) to the page 2025 ICC Champions Trophy appear to have added incorrect information, so they have been reverted for now. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please do not add Bangladesh onto the list of qualified nations until they actually qualify. Peter Langat moved to draftspace

Thanks for your contributions to Peter Langat. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. CycloneYoris talk! 17:30, 16 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Stop removing the qualification spots from the points table

Please stop removing the qualification spots from the Africa qualifier page. It is standard to have these spots listed regardless of who has actually qualified, because it tells at a glance where the actual spots are.

Removing them creates more confusion.

Please stop removing them, all you are doing is making it harder to read. Basetornado (talk) 20:29, 26 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Pkr206 It is standard across Wikipedia to have them listed in Green. Please stop reverting them. You are doing nothing but making it more complicated to read. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Basetornado (talkcontribs) 05:34, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:56, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Recent edit reversion

In this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.

I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.

I do occasionally make mistakes. We get hundreds of reports of potential copyright violations every week, and sometimes there are false positives, for a variety of reasons. (Perhaps the material was moved from another Wikipedia article, or the material was properly licensed but the license information was not obvious, or the material is in the public domain but I didn't realize it was public domain, and there can be other situations generating a report to our Copy Patrol tool that turn out not to be actual copyright violations.) If you think my edit was mistaken, please politely let me know and I will investigate. S Philbrick(Talk) 13:56, 30 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article 2024 European Cricket League has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Completely unreferenced and no WP:RS online, failing WP:GNG

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Joseph2302 (talk) 11:46, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop creating copies of articles for The Hundred seasons by using cut and paste moves. There is an ongoing naming discussion about this, contribute there instead of being disruptive. Do any more of these cut and paste moves, and I will be asking WP:ANI to block you. Joseph2302 (talk) 11:48, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
And also stop moving articles like The Hundred (2021) whilst this RM is ongoing. Discuss this at Talk:The Hundred (2021)#Requested move 29 February 2024, don't cut and paste or move any of these articles unilaterally. Joseph2302 (talk) 11:50, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of 2024 European Cricket League for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article 2024 European Cricket League is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2024 European Cricket League until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article until the discussion has finished.

Thanks for your contributions to 2025 European Cricket League. Information icon Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with 2024 European Cricket League. Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at 2024 European Cricket League, you may be blocked from editing. The AFD had a consensus to merge, don't just remove the tag because you don't like it Joseph2302 (talk) 16:21, 5 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
