You have not provided any sources or basis to your claim that he cannot hold the title, which he does. Once again, please do not remove the title from his name. Please stop reinsert the 'Prince' title in his name. Your use of this society title "Prince" is on the basis of this source: http://russiannobility.org/2019/01/29/passing-of-ivan-sergeievich-obolensky/ a source which is not neutral... the Russian nobility association of course uses the title 'Prince' to announce the death of one of its member. Even if this courtesy title is genuine, unlike a surname, it cannot stand the time if legally attached to a legally abolished regime (unlike the British titles).

The cited source doesn't appear to be reliable - Plex doesn't clarify where the information in its 'Discover Credits' bios comes from, I looked over some posts from Plex support and they don't discuss their veracity. Plex is often used with web scrapers for its media library, so the information may be taken from IMDB, which is unreliable per WP:IMDB. Sourcing standards for WP:DOB are stringent.
