By the way, if you're able to produce sources yourself saying things to the contrary, I'd remove it or (depending on the situation) place the other source next to it with a statement saying "while other sources dispute this" or something like that, the problem is just that you are trying to delete sourced information (I know you do not think the sources are absolutely authoritative, but I see no reason why they would lie) without sources to the contrary ... (also see my talk page, I left you a more complete message there, I think)--Yalens (talk) 20:11, 28 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I understand you. But Books on the exploration of the teips are almost non-existent. There is no labour at this time, which would have been written by a respected historian. Therefore I delete links to sites with "amateur" list of teips. Because living in Chechnya, I know that many here do not agree with this list, many teips that were recorded in the list did not exist. Amateur list had been compiled by Vačagaevym, i.e. it is not a reliable source, and therefore forbidden to copy it Nitzalavar (talk) 20:47, 28 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Books about Chechen culture are sadly small in number in general, especially in the English language- the only great source I have for Chechen culture is Amjad Jaimoukha's book The Chechens: A Handbook (though there are others for history), and secondarily Anchabadze's The Vainakhs. Perhaps a problem is also the old issue of what is to be considered a teip... do you have a source discrediting Vachagaev? We could use that.--Yalens (talk) 21:00, 28 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
