Please do not take copyright images from other web sites and upload them to Wikipedia claiming they are your own. Hi. If, as you claim, that the image you are adding to Small Town Big Deal is yours, you need to know a few things.

• Wikipedia takes copyright seriously. If you own the rights to this photo you must demonstrate it by following the appropriate processes.
• Simply repeatedly adding the photograph and ignoring these processes will get you nowhere.
• If you own the rights to the image, are you sure you wish to release them as described here? You cannot retain copyright to it and also publish it on Wikipedia.
• You will need to explain why you own copyright on the image, but do not have a conflict of interest in editing the article. Editing articles about yourself, your employer, your workplace or family is strongly discouraged.

Please take note of my advice. Your continued course of action is only going to get you blocked. I know it is a pain, but Wikipedia must ensure it is not breaching the rights of the image creators. @Escape Orbit: I do appreciate the fact that you are so good at removing my images. What I could use is help getting the images on Wikipedia. I work for the Small Town Big Deal television production. I have full rights to use the STBD logo and images of Jann Carl and Rodney Miller. The question is, what do I have to do to convince those monitoring Wikipedia of this.

It's not enough for you to have full rights. You need to licence it in a way that says anyone may reuse it. Are you comfortable doing that?

Please read what it says on this link. It describes what you need to do to demonstrate you have the image owner's owners permission (even if that is you yourself). I know it's a hassle, but it needs to be done if there is a likelihood of the image actually being copyrighted.

The photograph you are adding is on the show's website, where it claims a copyright on the contents. This is your chief hurdle in proving you own the rights to it. How is Wikipedia to know you've not just copied it from there and have no business claiming it as your own?

Do you have any similar photos from the same photo session that aren't on the website? Perhaps that would be an easier solution.

Logos are a slightly different case. Please read this. They may be used, but only in very particular circumstances of 'fair use'. I'm not sure, but I don't believe that combining them with other images is permissible.

But you need to carefully follow the instructions on the uploading wizard and ensure you appropriately licence it.

Thanks for your message. I'm afraid I can only repeat what I've said above, and link you again to the below;

• policy on image use. The difficulty is you are uploading images that anyone could have taken from the website, which claims copyright on them. You need to demonstrate that you have permission to release that copyright in an appropriate licence.
• guidelines on logo use. Again, I believe you simply cannot incorporate a company logo into another image about separate subject (e.g. members of the company, a programme the company makes). The logo can only be used in very limited situations in article about the company itself.
• [upload wizard.] You probably want to start with the option "This file was given to me by its owner." i.e. the owner is the company that owns the copyright. Then complete everything that is requested.

I appreciate that it can be daunting and complex-looking, and I'm no expert, but the links above try to explain what you must do in order to protect both yourself and Wikipedia from any question of copyright violation. --Escape Orbit ^(Talk) 20:20, 15 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

• paid editing of Wikipedia is a confict of interest and there are some very important rules you must follow about declaring this.
• Your user name may give the impression that it is owned/used by more than person at the company Morton Vardeman & Carlson. This is against policy, editor accounts must belong to an individual. See the instructions below to deal with this.

Actually, I did not contribute the content for the pages. I was only asked to contribute the photography since our agency has full rights to the photography and logo. And it has become impossible to add these photos to the Wiki. I don't understand the steps I need to take to convince Wiki Admins, like you, that we have rights to our own photography and logo. The links you sent me do a fine job of telling me what I cant do. I simply want to know what I need to do to make my images legal. My image is no different than this image https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/5/5e/Duck_Dynasty_Promo.jpg which you allow. Why?

My username does not promote a company. It doesn't even mention a company. How do you see a company in my username? It was simply an available username. I really don't care what my Wiki username is.
