Court documents

Please review our policies regarding the use of primary sources. In particular, we avoid using court documents as sources as they almost always require significant interpretation. They also raise significant issues related to weight as we usually require evidence that a subject has received some significant expert or widespread attention before judging it important enough to include in an encyclopedia article. In other words, anyone can file a lawsuit but we need evidence - new stories, scholarly articles, etc. - that establishes that particular lawsuits should be mentioned or described in an encyclopedia article.
