Apologies, I am new to this and trying to update this extremely out of date entry. Happy to amend to anything else, so will do that.

Please do not add materials to Meningitis Now or revert changes made by others. You have a clear conflict of interest and yet you are persisting in making contentious edits despite that conflict. If you persist you risk being blocked from editing. If you wish to change the article please post your suggestions and requests on the article talk page and leave it to other editors to decide whether or not to add them to the article. Equally the changes you are making are incorrect. YOu shouldn't be making changes with no understanding of the subject and you clearly do not.

Not so. Many serious editors on Wikipedia have very extensive knowledge and it isn't usually prudent to make assertions like that. It is possible to find yourself arguing against one of the many internationally acknowledged experts in their field - which can be embarrassing.

In this case there at least two significant issues. One is the fact that you have a close connection with the subject and should not be editing the article at all - you already have the links to advice on COI editing above. Secondly an article about a charity should be about that charity and not the world problems it tries to remedy. Thus a meningitis charity article should talk about the charity and not about meningitis research and remedies in which it has played no part. Wikipedia does not offer an opportunity to promote or show-case your charity. I hope that this now makes sense. Regards.
