Hello Md Maruf, I noticed you reverted an edit I made to this page: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Employsure Please note my edit does not need to be reverted. I refactored the information about the company parent/subsidiary into the infobox; instead of having it cluttering the opening paragraph. Rather than just undoing my edit please discuss this issue on the talk page of the article, if this is still an issue. Jack4576 (talk) 09:57, 18 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Naypta. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to the main body of Mashrafe Mortaza. Generally, any relevant external links should be listed in an "External links" section at the end of the article and meet the external links guidelines. Links within the body of an article should be internal Wikilinks. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hello, I'm Naypta. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to Shakib Al Hasan because they seemed inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. I'm really very sorry for thos occurrence. I didn't understand what I've done so wrong. In our country Bangladesh, those sports figure alaways use social media "Facebook" and they give their updates there. I have added those facebook page links which are berified by facebook as a result many people will find them in social media and get updates aboit them. So I tried to add those links to Wikipedia. Md Maruf Parvez (talk) 16:10, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I just read the gyideline about adding a link to wikipedia and learnt about them and understood that social media links should not be given in wikipedia. I will be careful about this in future. Md Maruf Parvez (talk) 16:31, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Recent edit reversion

In this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.

I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.S Philbrick(Talk) 13:03, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I am really very sorry but I didn't understand what's wrong. I you explain me in brief this will help me in future Md Maruf Parvez (talk) 16:04, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Shakib Al Hasan, you may be blocked from editing. Nyook 15:05, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you insert a spam link, as you did with this edit to Mahmudullah. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. Information icon Hi Md Maruf Parvez! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia — it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. David Biddulph (talk) 08:54, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for pointing my mistake. Can you please tell me about which edit are you talking? If you tell me specificly that will be very helpful for me. Md Maruf Parvez (talk) 10:03, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Of your edits on 7 June, 13 of the first 17 were marked as minor. The first, for example, was this one. --David Biddulph (talk) 10:12, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ow, Thanks a lot for this pointing! It may help me a lot! Md Maruf Parvez (talk) 15:55, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Where to get help

Hello,

I see you left messages on many users' talk pages. A good place to ask questions about how to use Wikipedia is the Teahouse (click here). I also put some useful links at the top of your page. Happy editing! — Rhododendrites talk \\ 13:55, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop soliciting help from Users at random on their Talk pages. Asking people "Will you tell me what kind of edits are you doing and how you are collecting information?" is not appropriate. As Rhodo mentioned, Teahouse is a place to ask volunteer hosts questions about how to be a better editor. David notMD (talk) 18:21, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

June 2020: Required to cite sources on Wikipedia

Information icon Hello, I'm Quisqualis. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. --Quisqualis (talk) 17:04, 14 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Welcoming users

Hello, thanks for your effort in welcoming new users. Please note, however, that we generally discourage indiscriminate welcoming of editors because it makes it harder to catch vandalism in the user creation log - we suggest waiting until users have edited before placing the welcome message. If you have any more questions, please contact me on my talk page. Thank you, Passengerpigeon (talk) 06:29, 15 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

User edit count page

I have founded a user edit count page. The link is :https://xtools.wmflabs.org/ec/en.wikipedia.org/Md%20Maruf%20Parvez Saidul Islam A (talk) 12:12, 16 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your message. Wikipedia says to"Consider listing pages that you want to have renamed/moved at Wikipedia:Requested moves. List them at Wikipedia:Requested moves/Technical (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Requested_moves/Technical_requests) requests if it appears unlikely that anyone would reasonably disagree with the move, and:

You are unable to move the page because your account is too new (the account must be autoconfirmed)"

  • You are not an Autoconfirmed user. An editor having 10 edits and at least 4 day old account are considered as Autoconfirmed user. As your edit count is 8 which is less than 10, you are not an Autoconfirmed user. So go to this link: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Requested_moves/Technical_requests

You may find the way. If you still have problems feel free to message me again. Md Maruf Parvez (talk) 17:56, 17 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright violation re Azhar Khan (cricketer)

Control copyright icon Hello Md Maruf Parvez, and welcome to Wikipedia. While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. All other images must be made available under a free and open license that allows commercial and derivative reuse to be used on Wikipedia.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps in Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate. See also Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. --Quisqualis (talk) 21:00, 18 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I hope that you can participate this time around, giving your feedback on this new feature for WikiLoop DoubleCheck users.
Thanks and see you around online,
