Hello, Kingsgarden. Unfortunately, if River J is starting out, she'd not qualify for a Wikipedia article just yet. Please have a look at the links on the talk page and make sure you understand what Wikipedia is and is not. We're not a social media site; we're an encyclopaedia, which means you can't use us to promote River J's work. Even then, if you are her publicist or publisher, the job of writing an article should be left to a neutral person; you would end up with a significant conflict of interest if you tried to write an article about her work when there was some information about her in the sources we consider reliable.

@Kingsgarden: There was no ego involved and I apologise if I upset you - it wasn't anything personal, as I said; I say this to a lot of people who come to my talk page to discuss articles marked for deletion. The problem is that it doesn't matter if someone is unpublished or not. There needs to have been written, reliable sources out there. Generally, in other markets, that will come with publication. However, if they are well-known in the Sufi community there might be relevant and useful written sources. Just a thought that might help you to look sideways at the issue and that publication isn't the be-all and end-all of Wikipedia (although it definitely helps, since publication usually precedes the wider community discovering their works).

Also, you can use Articles for Creation to get critique and assistance on an article before it goes live. If you do have a conflict of interest as regards this person, then that will help get other people's input as to whether the language sounds promotional or not. @Lukács Ferenc: - hi, it's been a bit of a while since I haven't had time to edit here for a while. Basically, I think the problem was that you included a lot of tourist/travel information on the town, and information more relevant to local people or travellers, whereas what Wikipedia requires is more statistical information and information about notable landmarks (for an idea of what to include, have a look at an article on a large American town; those tend to be the best-written geographical articles). At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. In 2017 - 2018, the Wikimedia Foundation and Google working in close coordination with the Centre for Internet and Society (CIS), Wikimedia India chapter (WMIN) and user groups will pilot a program encouraging Wikipedia communities to create locally relevant and high-quality content in Indian languages. This program (Code name: Project Tiger) will:

(a) Support active and experienced Wikipedia editors through the donation of laptops and stipends for internet access and

(b) Sponsor a language-based contest that aims to address existing Wikipedia content gaps.

The objective of the program is to provide laptops and internet stipends for existing editors who need support to contribute more actively. 50 basic model Acer Chromebooks and Internet stipends for 100 contributors are available for distribution. Provided resources are the sole property of the beneficiaries and should be used for the betterment of the movement.

If you're an active Wikimedian, and interested to receive support from this project, please apply. It will take around 10 minutes of your time, and will ask descriptive questions about your contribution to Indic Wikimedia projects.
