Speedy deletion nomination of Happy Fuel

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Happy Fuel requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. reddogsix (talk) 03:26, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Notability

Hi! I thought I'd give you a head's up on why the pages were deleted. They were slightly promotional, but the biggest problem is that there is nothing on the page that showed that the company was ultimately notable. To show notability we need coverage in reliable sources (WP:RS) such as newspapers and websites along the lines of the LA Times. Not every source is considered to be a reliable source though, so I'd recommend that if you have any questions over what can be used as a RS, you go to the Wikipedia:Reliable sources noticeboard to run it through the editors there. Anythign that is released by the company is considered to be a WP:PRIMARY source and can't show notability. The thing is that nobody is questioning whether or not the company exists, just whether or not it passes WP:CORP. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 05:59, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks... However, I do have a credible source as a notable coverage. This was the update that I was going to upload today. One of many are: http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/happy-fuel-llc-launches-company-with-new---fuel--happiness-app-208345451.htm

Do you want me to re-post? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Leejae76 (talk • contribs) 15:18, 11 July 2013‎ (UTC)[reply]

I assume you meant http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/happy-fuel-llc-launches-company-with-new---fuel--happiness-app-208345451.html. The problem with that is it's your company's press release ("SOURCE Happy Fuel LLC"). Press releases don't count toward notability. --71.199.125.210 (talk) 15:39, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

OK, let me find something else. ETA 48 Hours.
