You said that I was expanding on Indian states, thats not the case, a lot of the info was already there before I started, I actually reduced it and cleaned some of the text up. Some of the text look as though it was written by a 5 year old, whilst other sections look as if they have been copied word for word, I have made a few minor changes. I have seen this in other articles especially in Tourism in Maharashtra. That entire article was a section in the tourism india article. I turned that section into a separate article becuase there was plenty of info there and that to can now be expanded. I would like to work in with the others but the other editor was unreasonable. The idea for the drop down box was to shorten the article wich has been tagged to long. Certain sections were even doubled up. Thats it for nowفي بمناమొదటి한국어 日本語

I have started a new article using the information in the Tourism in India article. It is Tourism in Andhra Pradesh. After creating the article and transfering the information across, I removed the excessive info from that section and added the main article link at the top. So if anyone wants to find out more they go to the main article which is still under construction. New tourism India articles

Hi. Okay, I'll do that in future. I have these other articles as well that were created the same way Tourism in Madhya Pradesh & Tourism in Maharashtra. They were complete sections in tourism in India which have made fairly lengthy size articles on their own. I also found another article, Tourism in Punjab (India). I used the information from tourism in India to expand on that article by adding to the intro and that inturn has made that the main article for that section. I was going to start a new article for Punjab, lucky I checked it was already there. I have added the main article link to that section as well to let people know that it is there for their reading pleasure. Thanks.

I don't have anything against the move, but I think the (India) in brackets may have been to let people know that it is Punjab in India and not Pakistan. So other people may have a different opinion, but it shouldn't cause to much of a worry. Also I have checked out Kerala, man it looks beautiful. I am giong to use wikipedia to plan my future expidition. I think I now deserve a holiday overthere after creating so many articles about it. Just kidding. But I will visit, one day. I am not quite sure, we may have an Australian equivalent. What I will do is I will search around and find a few links and maybe a few other places of interest and post them on you talk page. I coudn't really find anything about towns up in the mountain with any decent images. We do have something similar, its just a case of someone going into these areas and taking some images to upload. I will keep looking though, but for the time being I have a few other places of interest. They are not hill stations just nice places, even though we have more. I will leave you with these for the time being and I'll have another look tommorow, I am just about to retire for the night. Anyway here are the links.

Those messages that you removed from the user talk page User:Jobanjohn was left by an automatice bot. that was trying to warn that user about speedy deletion tags that where put on images that he uploaded that were in breach of copyrite and had web addresses on them which is againts wikpedia policy. Also that user was adding spam links to Malayattoor then after he did that he created another page with slightly different spelling so he could add more of his own links to that article. That was a new user, he doesn'tknow policies. He should be told about policies about external link, too many warning for a new guest is not proper, hence i removed them. The new user recieved 2 level 1 warnings, which is a welcome and a polite warning. The other ones that you removed were not actual warnings. They were messages to inform him that speedy deletion tags ware placed on each image that he downloaded so he could contest the deletion. 1 tag for each picture, If he logs back in he wont see them so his images will get deleted. Which they will regarless of him contesting them. You can have a look at the images but nobody can remove the tags until admins have had a look.

I have put enough effort in merging; but this community(NOT called community if only 2 parties are there) made me put more effort and tension than that during merging. I haven't jumped to any decision. When you are reverted, the correct action is not to revert back, but to discuss before anybody reverts anybody else. Please read WP:BRD. Demanding that the other user wait for a third party do the revert is wrong. The best thing to do is to leave it in the state you don't prefer while actively generating productive discussion. Then, you can go back and make your edit when you've got a clear consensus. I'll be happy to help with any move request after serious discussion has occurred. I never allow nor ever allowed anybody to singlehandedly revert all edits done with enough time effort and good faith. Now that some third party reverted im not reverting back, i dont call it community, also, i dont reply much in detail in talk if there is only one party. That's fine, but be aware that many Wikipedians consider "I never allow anybody to singlehandedly revert" to be edit warring, and poor practice. If somebody else brings it up to you, don't be surprised.

If you haven't done so already, please have a look at Wikipedia:BOLD, revert, discuss cycle. That page describes a good practice, that doesn't lead to continued edit wars. Reverting, while demanding that the other person get a third party, tends to extend and worsen edit wars. That's what we've learned from long experience, and that's why it's discouraged.

If someone does not beat me to it, I may look into making a tourism info box of some sort, but only if people or other users think it is worth while. I would also have to work out what kind of information you would want to have in the infobox. I have made infoboxes before, I have made the infobox for the Sydney Coach Terminal article, I have also made 3 templates. The first one is Template:The Hawkesbury River, my second creation is Template:Tourism and my third is the Indian Pilgramage template which you can find in the Tourism in India article. I think the Indian one should be fixed up and inserted into other articles, but somebody who knows more about it than me should probably look into it, it was a blind project on my behalf. I put the Sydney landmark template on your talk page simply to show you some of the sites around sydney.

Hi I see you have added a competitor to the article, I thought it might annoy them a little more to have the link in the info box as well. The only thing is the page is also being watched by an admin, who I suspect will remove those links from the article due to the fact that the link is also in the info box. Instead of having a see also list, What you or I could do is, change the header from see also to Direct competitors of Campa Cola or other Indian brands in direct competition with Campa Cola.

I could remove Limca, even though it is not a cola it is still a competitor. Campa cola could also make other brands of flavours of soft drink as well. Also if you mean the swchepps cola in the info box, they are there becuase they are related products. I thinks it would be good to have a list of competitors as that would keep the article nuetral. If Campa Cola does not exist, it is strange that they would continue to add there contact details to the info box of that article. If you read the article it does mention that they now also deal in construction and hotels, or something similar. So they may still produce the cola but under a different trading name. I also noticed that you started a new article tourism in Goa. I have added the Template:Tourism to the article. You dont really want to add the link to the template though. If you were to add all the countrys and citys and states of every country the template would be massive.

I put the template there to help people find out about other tourism articles that they never thought extisted. Every article in that template has the template in that article. Yes nice article, the only thing is if an admin happens to see this, you might get a warning. I won't say anything, I may even put it to good use later on. If i leave it there and lets say an admin comes along to give me a message and lets say for some reason they decide to click the link and are offended by it. What they would do is look through the page history find out who put it there and then indef block you for a few years. I can't understand why you would put it there, it doesn't worry me. If you did that to someone else they may get upset.

Campa Cola. You missed the action with Campa cola last night. The contact details were inserted and reverted over 4 times. I had one of the ip blocked for two weeks then after that another 2 ip's came along and did the same thing. I have for the time being foiled there plans. I know they cannot format properly, so I removed the infobox and replaced with a template that shows the same info box. I think it has worked for the time being, the offenders came along put their details in then realised the infobox was missing after they saved. Their details could not be formatted properly, so they actually took them out themselves. This is only a short term solution as they will probably figure out how to format in future. • I can't see how someone can become autherised to add external links to wikipedia. In most cases external links seem to get reverted pretty quickly. I think there is some sort of reference there as to prove that the info is correct. Any commercial links that advertise for a buseness could be removed. I am strongly against spam and petty admins who's main concern is to complain against my signiture.
• Another thing you should see, if I have not showed you, User:Campacola. When I brought this to the attention of an admin, he had the account indef blocked, because the offenders where using the info in the user space to cut and paste into the article. Shouldn't you have realised after the first time that it was a trap. The only thing it did was lead you to another wikipedia article, the only thing is it happened to have a picture of a naked lady. I was not trying to lead people to the picture but the article, which I thought was a good quality article and that is what I wanted people to see the great quality and literary style. I don't know if you have tried these out but the second one down is for an ip address advising them on how to start a new account. The first one at the top of the list you should delete becuase you already have one. Third one down tells them to preview before saving and so on. There simply different templates for different occasions.

Also have a look at my brand new style of warning templates in the drop down box V template in my user space. Also if you go to nobs and things you will find other usefull things that can be copied and pasted for all occasions. I have also made new template userboxes, although I have never been to goal, its just a joke.

You also mentioned that you do not revert spam and vandalism all that much. You know you probably should, you would probably find it interesting, to me its almost like playing solitaire or freecell. You come across one count of spam or vandalism, you revert it and give one warning. On some occasians the warnings are ignored so you give another warning then another till eventually you have them blocked after reporting them to Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism . Yesterday I had one ip blocked after 50 counts of spam and vandalism.

I never actually meant that I play these games on wikipedia, what I actually meant is that removing spam, warning repeat offenders and eventually having them blocked is kind of like the equivilent to playing the game. Also you said that using popup is combersum, you should try using popups not just to revert but to look at the diffs in your watchlist without actually clicking on to the link. I am not sure if you know or have tried this but you can do this by going to Wikipedia:Tools/Navigation popups. You also said that wiki articles should have atleast 5 links each, well that depends on what kind of links they are wheather they be advertising for a business or information that helps to expand or varifie whats already in the article.

I find that sometimes the best way to learn about things that you don't know about is to work on those articles. Also, I come across these articles by following spam trails. I find a lot of Indian contributors like to add websites to those related articles. As a part of the wikipedia communitie we should devote a little time to removing spam. Anyway by following the spam trail, thats how I come across these articles, ones like this Sawantvadi . Anyway I am off to design a new userbox for my hometown.

You've been asking about the AfD [2], which was closed merge and redirect. As is unfortunately typical, it was just redirected--in practice merge and redirect or merge is almost always equivalent to delete, except for leaving the redirect behind. This is not the way it was meant to be used, and it should be seen as a variant of delete not as keep. The change in how this closing is used has been suggested a number of times, and failed. It's convenient for the operation of AfD, and many of the most experienced people there strongly support continuing. I'd love to change it, but I do not see how.

But there is a practical solution: simply edit the article on transwoman to incorporate the content that you think should be there. It may be challenged--respond by citing the result of the AfD. If necessary follow dispute Resolution. I cannot think of any other way to proceed--many of the procedures here run in the favor of deletion; AGF, its the 2nd law of thermodynamics: left to themselves, things run downhill. It takes work to build them up. If you think its worth the work, do it.

Thanks for your reply. The template may be fine for some articles, but since it is a new one, perhaps other editors will want to look it over and suggest changes. In its present form it seems not to give much general navigation guidance except for the eight limbs themselves. Generally the navigation templates take up space, and when articles get too many of them formatting issues can arise. So for articles that already have multiple templates, adding another may be seen as clutter by some editors. The new template may be very useful for some articles, and I complement you for creating it. If I have removed it on some page where you think it should go, please be sure to raise a question on the talk page for the article so other editors can chime in. I think I tagged Portal:Aesthetics for deletion about a minute after you created it. I had no idea until I looked at my watchlist. As far as I knew it had been a redirect for years. I know when something like that happens to me I get a little creeped out.

You can have a redirect there if you want to. The only reason I deleted it, is that the navigation template on the wikiproject aesthetics page recognizes it as a page that exists, and therefore puts a link to it. If there is no page, it just leaves it out. We can have it either way.

Since the list of the eight limbs of Yoga is included in the Yoga template already, putting the Raja Yoga template on a page that has a Yoga template is redundant and just clutters up the page. The problem has since been solved. On one of the pages, there was line breakage in the template when there wasn't supposed to be, causing the bot to screw up. That's the thing -- the bot is so stupid it will do whatever a human tells it, so it's up to the human to get it right. But it's not real problem and it's easily fixable. This is how I fixed it. The reception seems luke warm for getting the bot to tag articles as part of these fields in philosophy. I think after people see the result they will be quite pleased. I am going to propose that we get the bot to tag articles for one task force just to see how it goes. I think the Aesthetics project is ready for this. I listed some categories whose articles all should be within the Aesthetics project there. I am going to forward a request to the bot in about a week unless there is an outcry against it. (Which I would not understand at all.)

I agree i used sockpuppets to hide contributions from some people, but this does not call for indefinite block, nor i am sockpuppet/meatpuppet nor i know user:kuntan.

Comment. I'd suggest that, in reviewing this request, the first place to look is Vinay412's block log. Vinay412 was initially blocked for 7 days for disruptive editing and immediately used sockpuppetry to bypass that block. That resulted in an extension to 2 weeks. Further sockpuppetry got the 2 weeks period reset again. In that time, the sock puppetry continued unabated, with the Racky pt account being created and the Lara bran account being created during that later 2 week block, prior to a different admin concluding that Vinay412 and all of the then-known puppets belonged to User:Kuntan. Per the list admitted by the puppeteer, above, further puppets have been created and used in parallel since. I would respectfully suggest to any admin reviewing this block that, regardless of whether vinay412 is Kuntan or not, the extent of puppetry and the behaviour exhibited (eg in edits to shemale) should probably earn Vinay412 a permanant block even if it isn't Kuntan. --AliceJMarkham 12:27, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

I agree i've thrown chances back in your(all admins') faces, but that is just to protect my self respect, i later realised that there is monopoly(no competing website for wikipedia). I was blocked without a single warning [8] and same admin padded his reason later, with 2 edits [9] [10] , which i was not able to comprehend at that time. And in unblock request i was asked to "sit it out" [11] , worst display of manners in my view, i was certainly not a kitten, though i was new to wikipedia at that time. I am requesting unblock here(this sockpuppet account, instead of puppetmaster) due to 2 reasons one being privacy reason of real name since i work on shared ip, second is user talk:vinay412 is protected. I have mailed blocking admin in detail. Requesting unblock of this account for privacy, as stated above. Evidences:

• User:Vinay412 is new user, can be identified with first contributions, while user:Kuntan is old user active in sept 2006 itself.
• user:kuntan's socks are disruptive eg: Special:contributions/59.91.253.76 which comes from kerala, which is 500km away. Also another of kuntan sock Special:contributions/Kunthrattathi, seems to know admins personally, seems like some legal dispute.
• My contributions are karnataka and kannada, while kuntan is kerala and malayalam(which is different state and language in india).
• My sock accounts never been disruptive and hence dont call for indefinite block. Block on user:vinay412 for disruption had expired long block and socks user:racky pt and user:lara bran were never disruptive.

Thanks, i dinno its so easy if i follow procedures :). I will use this account instead of user:vinay412, and changed sock tags to make this account user:lara bran master account. Just one thing; now that you're unblocked, please don't run straight over and edit User:RyanFreisling's user page, like you did. It can be misconstrued.
