Hi @EnPassant. Do you remember me? :) We had a conversation about Fancy Women Bike Ride. I think you reviewed it but I can not see it in logs. Could you check it please? Kind regards. Kadı Message 16:16, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy tagging

Stop tagging articles for deletion. You have insufficient experience or judgment to do so.--Bbb23 (talk) 19:55, 7 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Bbb23:, First of all, hello :) I am a patroller from Turkish Wikipedia, the articles which I tagged are not notable. I tagged them in Trwiki also. Waiting for your reply.--Kadıköylü (talk) 19:59, 7 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I can't speak to the policies at tr.wiki, but they are irrelevant at en.wiki. The articles you tagged should not have been tagged. Again, don't tag any more.--Bbb23 (talk) 21:03, 7 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Bbb23:, ok--Kadıköylü (talk) 21:05, 7 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, Kadı,
Please do not tag articles as "promotional" unless they look like advertising. You are tagging draft articles of individuals who might be considered notable. They are not what we consider to be "spam". Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 21:47, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Liz, I am new in English version, this is completely different from Turkish Wikipedia! :) Thank you for the information. Best, Kadı Message 21:50, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: Steve Hulford

Hello Kadı, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Steve Hulford, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Not unambiguously promotional. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. Modussiccandi (talk) 20:27, 13 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Having read the above messages on your talk page, may I ask you to refrain from tagging pages for speedy deletion without understanding how en.wiki's criteria work? Thank you, Modussiccandi (talk) 20:30, 13 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Modussiccandi, hi. Thanks for informing me. Best, Kadı Message 12:15, 14 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Fancy Women Bike Ride.png speedy deletion

Hi, I uploaded the SVG version of that logo at File:Fancy Women Bike Ride logo.svg and marked your original PNG upload with speedy deletion. Regards, Merko (talk) 08:28, 2 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, @Merko! Kadı Message 09:28, 2 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Kadı,

It is okay to inquire if an editor has been compensated for their editing work on Wikipedia but continuing to make assertions, without evidence, is considered to be casting aspersions and can be seen as a personal attack. Your concern for the project is great but please do not hound other editors based on your suspicions. If you think the articles they write are inadequate, you can nominate them for deletion at WP:AFD or tag them for speedy deletion. I know you think you are protecting Wikipedia but we have lost some great, valuable editors who got off-track chasing down paid editors and went a step too far and got themselves blocked. I think you are making good contributions here and I wouldn't want you to go down that rabbit hole. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 03:51, 4 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Liz, Hi, thanks for the message. I see Ferhat Domurcuk article which was created by Seyit12. Then, I wrote about the connection. Thanks again for informing, and sorry about the incident. Regards, Kadı Message 05:01, 4 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Liz, This is the proof: [1]. Regards, Kadı Message 18:32, 4 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Overlinking

Please don't overlink articles, as you did at Mehmed II It might help you to read WP:overlinking. There was only one Murad II; he reigned twice. Thanks for reading this. Haploidavey (talk) 12:16, 17 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Haploidavey I expected to see a valid rationale while reverting. Thanks for your explanation. Best, Kadı Message 12:21, 17 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, so did I and it took me a while to figure things out. I'll drop a note to the editor who reverted your change. Best wishes, Haploidavey (talk) 12:25, 17 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: User:Toromc8/sandbox/Freddy Brün

Hello Kadı. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of User:Toromc8/sandbox/Freddy Brün, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Not a blatant misuse of Wikipedia as a webhost. Thank you. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 19:06, 9 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

DergiPark moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, DergiPark, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Please note, this should not have been added to the "Artists" lists (only for VISUAL artists), nor "film" as "actors & filmmakers covers this. Thanks Johnbod (talk) 15:00, 26 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Just noticed you know about economics

Hello @Kadı

I just noticed you know about economics. Maybe you noticed I have brought some articles about Turkey up to good status. Some points in those articles are related to economics but I am very weak on economics. For example after I asked Talk:Agriculture in Turkey#Subsidy of a crop and tax of one of its products in the same sentence I noticed that this happens in other countries too but it still seems strange to me. Perhaps it is economically illogical but politically important.

Might you have time to improve the economy of Turkey article? If not might you have time to look through the good articles about Turkey to see if you can find anything wrong about the economics?

Or indeed perhaps you could interest a whole group of students/professors per Wikipedia:Student assignments? Like I see METU have done at https://outreachdashboard.wmflabs.org/campaigns/digital_cultural_heritage_/programs

Chidgk1 (talk) 18:13, 2 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Chidgk1, Thank you for your contributions to the articles which are about Türkiye. I am a student at Istanbul University Faculty of Economics, but it is my first year :) I can help to the articles by translating them to Turkish. Best regards, Kadı Message 19:23, 2 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Great - but don’t do too much Wikipedia - make sure you have a social life. Chidgk1 (talk) 14:04, 4 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
