I keep editing your article in keeping with Wikipedia style guidelines. Please stop changing my edits back. The style guidelines are at WP:STYLE and they cover things like style for article titles and section headings, and the guideline that the lead section precedes the heading of the first named section. —Largo Plazo (talk) 14:54, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't know who was editing the page, sorry about that. (Jmidtronics (talk) 15:10, 9 September 2008 (UTC))[reply]

OK. FYI, there is no ownership over articles on Wikipedia, and you shouldn't be surprised to see edits occur! If something isn't as you left it, check the article's history tab. You would have seen my explanations there. —Largo Plazo (talk) 15:13, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well we are new to this and just trying to get our information out there. So you can be a little more respectful to someone who is just learning how to use Wikipedia.

I need to change the name of the article at the very top from: "Battery conductance" to just "Conductance". Thanks I would appreciate it. (Jmidtronics (talk) 19:54, 9 September 2008 (UTC))[reply]

There already is an article called Conductance. It's a disambiguation page for several conductance-related topics, one of which is Electrical conductance. Are you sure you're writing something that isn't already available on Wikipedia? My suggestion is that you read that article and anything it links to, to see if there's anything you were planning to write that isn't already covered. If so, and if the material you come up with is worthwhile, you can edit the existing article(s). In addition, make a request to have your article deleted, by putting {{db-author}} at the top. —Largo Plazo (talk) 20:04, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, we own the copyright to what was entered into Wikipedia, before I even had a chance to correct the information, it was deleted. In which now I have to go ahead and enter everything again. You should allow more time, before someone makes a deletion to something. My username which includes the company name Midtronics, which is the company. I will get this thing redone and it will be on wikipedia.(Jmidtronics (talk) 16:03, 11 September 2008 (UTC))[reply]

Speedy deletion of Battery conductance

A tag has been placed on Battery conductance requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. (I had just realized this when I noticed the URL at the bottom of the page.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later." You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here. (The above is boilerplate text. In the case of this article, it really shouldn't exist at all. Conductance is a significant topic in the field of electronics and it would have been remarkable if Wikipedia hadn't already had an article on it, which I've now shown you that it does. I had given you the opportunity to see if your article had any material that might be used to improve the conductance article, while doubting that there was anything; now, given the copyright violation, it's necessary to delete the article quickly, unless you can satisfy the instructions above.)

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. AfD nomination of Battery conductance

I have nominated Battery conductance, an article you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Battery conductance. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
