December 2007

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles, as you did to Morals and Dogma of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" is strongly discouraged. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. I'm sure you mean well, Bro. Miller, but that seems far too much like advertising. Sorry. uɐɔlnʌɟoʞǝɹɐs 04:39, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Bearian (talk) 20:42, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reversions

Please note the information at WP:3RR regarding reversion of content. You'll note that you're liable to be subject to sanction if you continue to insert your material into the M&D article. I would suggest you continue your efforts on the talk page, at present the emerging consensus is that your insertion is advertising given the lack of notability for your book.

Feel free to escalate to anyone in the Southern Jurisdiction, if you are a member. They are aware of the book and in the process of reviewing it, but reviews take time. We have gotten nothing but positive feedback from all levels of the craft. Jjmiller768 (talk) 21:52, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Then worry about it if and when anything is done with it. MSJapan (talk) 21:53, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
SJ have no authority outside their boundaries and then only over the SR, there is no authority over Wikipedia with respect to content. Your book does not meet Wikipedias requirements for notability, therefore has no place in the article. It has repeatedly been observed that your insertion appears to be advertising, and you do not appear to be taking that advice onboard. Please review the content policies linked for your convenience above and in various comments on your insertion.

Vandalism warning

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. MSJapan (talk) 21:53, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

To wit, your book is not notable, and to talk about it in the contextr of another article is advertising. Wikipedia is not an advertising medium.

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Morals and Dogma of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Your next revert will be reported to the administrators, with the likely result of you being temporarily blocked from editing. Please consider what you're doing. Thanks. uɐɔlnʌɟoʞǝɹɐs 21:58, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
