Regarding Herman op den Graeff May be you should try a google book search (since if you do a regular search only the nonsense produced by family members turns up). you will find that the only facts on the wiki article are that a guy called Herman up den Graeff was a Mennonite immigrant from Germany. Anything else (plantagenet, de Graeff-link to the Netherlands, Holy Grail) is COMPLETE NONSENSE. if any of the claims made (obviously made by family members) on the wiki page were true, don't you think that such an important person (remember, he was allegedly a "guardian of the Holy grail") would be mentioned extensively in historic literature on google books; obviously this is not the case. F.ex. he claim that he was a descendent of the De Graeff family in Amsterdam or a descendent of House of Cleves is plain B*llsht*t. Check Nederland's Adelsboek, Europäische Stammtalfen etc. Hence i think it's better to let the public decide; that's why i suggested that the page should be deleted.

Sorry about Violating WP:PROD

@Jfire Hello, apologies for reinstating the proposed deletion on 1617 in Sweden. I did not know that proposals for deletion cannot be put back after being deleted, however I know that ignorance is not an excuse; I will be more cautious regarding Wikipedia policy in the future. Thank you for your patience, have a nice rest of your day. Royz-vi Tsibele (talk) 12:27, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No problem! There are a lot of policies and I realize not everyone knows all of them. You have a nice day too! Best, Jfire (talk) 17:44, 20 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Reddi AfD

Hello, I have never commented on an AfD so I have a question. The conclusion from the first time the article was nominated was that it doesn't meet WP:GNG, and I find no significant changes since 2012, so presumably WP:GNG is a good reason this time as well. Does that constitute a reasonable argument on its own? Kimen8 (talk) 11:37, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I think there's an argument to be made that the situation hasn't changed much since the first AfD. In that AfD, MelanieN made the best argument, and I think it holds up well (although Reddi is no longer a student). Thanks for participating if you decide to do so. A note about the Cerberus AfD proposal

I see that the "orphan" proposal for deletion was from an Italian IP address. I wonder if it might be related to the Italian company LSDroid S.R.L., which sells software called "Cerberus" (in a SEO effort). (I was deleting the proposal, but see you got there first). A question about The YCOD AfD

I'm new to this, but is it currently up for deletion? It's listed on the talk page, but there's no correlate tag within the article itself. It's unclear why it was nominated without such a tag. Evanroden1 (talk) 01:18, 22 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I nominated it for proposed deletion, but then had second thoughts, so I self-reverted my nomination and it's not currently up for deletion. I'll let other editors handle it. However, please see the message I left you at your talk page. Jfire (talk) 01:28, 22 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
