If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Greetings, interesting start for the article, but a few key points. Don't take this personally, it's just learning how the coding works, and you've actually done a great job for a new editor, but you've stumbled into some odd workarounds that aren't necessary and just add effort

• You're working way too hard at formatting. All the "br" tags should be unnecessary in 99% of articles, and you're relying on them heavily. If you have a list of items, simply add an "*" to create a bullet, and then coding will automatically start a fresh line for each.
• No need to bold section headings, they do that automatically so now you've just extra-bolded them.
• Don't "gallery" individual photos, just do a basic image code (note how I've fixed it for most of your photos)
• Don't use "small" tags unless you have a really good reason (not needed 99% of the time)

Those are a few things that jump to mind. The much larger issue is sourcing. You have a ton of info in the article, but not many footnotes. Have you read WP:Notability (people)? You need to have multiple citations to uninvolved WP:Reliable sources that testify that the subject is significant in whatever field. So if he's an author, you want articles from literary magazines or books about literature, which mention "Hey, this John Smith was revolutionary in the field of Maximalist literature, starting in 1968 when he was lecturing at U California..." That sort of thing.

Your article has potential, but you'll want to untangle the complicated coding a bit, and then focus on finding some proper references to evidence Notability. MatthewVanitas (talk) 19:16, 15 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
