@Phil Bridger Actually, Google testing does exist, to the point where there's a how-to guide on it. I'm using it to distinguish between an article that needs to be nominated for deletion and one that needs a {{sources exist}} tag. The image is already on the article for the 1930 US Senate elections. I was creating an imagemap template so that you could click on a state on the map and be directed to the article for that state's specific election (this is the case for all US Senate election pages after 1930). Hello I dream of horses, the content I added is from a singular source but it was published by one of the most credible sources in Indian literature and is from 2009. see Sahitya Akademi. Hi I dream of horses! Sorry to bother you, but it's waaaay past my bedtime and I need to get this off my chest... I'm still only halfway through reverting the massive vandalism caused by an IP you ever-so-nicely welcomed to the project.

While I agree, in principle, on welcoming IPs/registered users who commit minor deviations from what can be considered acceptable constructive and productive edits (and I'm telling you this proudly as one who has been able to "reconvert" two smart-ass vandals who later made it to admins — as per their own email communications with me throughout the processes), may I please ask you to at least follow up on those you welcome rather than leave it up to the rest of the community to sort out if/when things go awry?

I realise that no one is on here 24/7 but I'm sure you'll agree that there has to be some sorta plan/strategy to welcoming any IP/registered user with an unproven history of edits. By the time you left your welcome, the IP had already made half a dozen vandal edits which you should/could have spotted.

As I mentioned above, it's way past my bedtime and I shouldn't be editing, so I hope the tone is civil enough for you not to take this note badly... but rather in the spirit of how it's meant: consider the pros and cons of erring on the side of caution when welcoming people... and then maybe follow up on their edits.

First in first, they are using Japanese, not Chinese. "そごうの" or "いかなる" are obvious Japanese character. These are called Hiragana and they are listed on Table of hiragana

Hi! We just realized that someone has reverted wikipedia page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carlos_Betancourt_(artist) to the old one. The old one someone keeps editing the first paragraph with nonsense, even the name from Carlos Betancourt to Bipin...( I am actually Carlos Betancourt, who this page talks about). So yesterday my studio and gallery team and I spent 5 hours fixing and updating the page as someone from Univeristy of Miami doing research on my artwork had send a text telling us that the Wikipedia page first paragraph has been altered with the wrong name, info etc. After updating and publishing the new version, we wake up this morning to see it reverted. Even the first paragraph when back to the altered wrong name:

Known also as The Goan Content creator, his works explore issues of memory and his own experiences. This page is not about Bipin.....from Goa.We don't even know who this is. Does this has anything to do with I dream ofhorse? Not sure why this is happening but would like our new edits to remain. We are by no means experts in Wikipedia but a lot of people use it to do research on my artwork...

In any case, we will go in today and update the page to the new revised version. thanks.
