Hello. the page is to show the viewer image of what happened during the image. Instead of googling the image, its in the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TheSecondComing10 (talkcontribs) 15:31, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@TheSecondComing10: You aren't supposed to remove the old prod template from the talk page, if the prod is removed. - hako9 (talk) 15:45, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The deletion did not make any sense, so i closed it down as of Speedy Keep. TheSecondComing10 (talk) 15:46, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Knowing

Why an article is gonna to be deleted. How can I edit that to avoid deletation.. জাবিরটটক (talk) 07:03, 24 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@জাবিরটটক The best way to avoid deletion would be to provide mainstream reliable sources and/or scholarly sources either in the article or on the deletion discussion page here. Please also read WP:AFDEQ and WP:AFDFORMAT if you want to comment on the deletion discussion page. - hako9 (talk) 20:02, 24 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Meesho

Hello admin,

I have revised Draft:Meesho and removed the poor references you suggested. Meesho is a well known brand in India and competes against Amazon and Flipkart. There are hundreds of references available about it but I have tried to narrow them down. Please have a look at the draft and accept it if it's good enough. Everbethesame (talk) 11:38, 27 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please read WP:CORPDEPTH, especially the sections "Numerical facts", "Significant coverage of the company itself" and "Examples of trivial coverage". The article reads like pitch deck. There are indeed a tonne of reliable sources, but there's very little in those sources that can be included in the article. Routine news like capital raises, company announcements and pretty much anything that company insiders say about the company, which is directly quoted by the publisher, shouldn't be included, unless there's a good reason to do so. Few tips; focus on quality over quantity. See WP:REFBOMB. Almost all of the 40 sources are routine coverage. Exclude all trivial achievements and capital raises, or maybe condense them into a single line with few prominent funders. — hako9 (talk) 20:47, 29 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

A cup of tea for you!

A cup of tea for you, I wish they had a better milky tea as well in the drop down but there was none and I dont want to make my own, I am having flatulence issues and I just wanted to thank for the last message you dropped. (talk) 14:11, 25 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ingesting too much conspiracy can cause excessive flatulence. — hako9 (talk) 03:32, 26 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Ukrainian Labour Temple

Just flagging for you that your recent edit to the Ukrainian Labour Temple page is a good piece of writing, but expands the scope of the page in a way that's new, and makes it a bit confusing. The preexisting page was for the Ukrainian Labour Temple in Winnipeg. The History section you added focuses on the 1950 bombing of the Ukrainian Labour Temple in Toronto. I've left it there for the time being, but I think we need to decide how to correct this contradiction.

The page could be rewritten (and probably retitled) to be about Ukrainian Labour Temples (plural) in Canada, so that it could contain information on several prominent ones, as well as discuss their totaly scope—though given their association with the Association of United Ukrainian Canadians/Ukrainian Labour Farmer Temple Association, that history might be better suited to the Association's page. Alternatively, we could leave this page as just about the Ukrainian Labour Temple in Winnipeg, and expand the information about the bombing to make a new article about the 1950 bombing of the Ukrainian Labour Temple in Toronto.

I thought you might have an opinion on this, but I'm happy to make some decisions about changes myself if you don't. Thanks for your work! Handpigdad (talk) 21:16, 1 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Handpigdad Looking at it again, this is a clear mistake on my part. The incident has nothing to do with Ukrainian Labour Temple, Toronto as you say. Imo, the section needs to be deleted in its entirety and maybe a shorter version needs to be shifted to the AUUC article. — hako9 (talk) 10:34, 2 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

New Pages Patrol newsletter April 2024

Hello Hako9,

New Page Review queue January to March 2024

Backlog update: The October drive reduced the article backlog from 11,626 to 7,609 and the redirect backlog from 16,985 to 6,431! Congratulations to Schminnte, who led with over 2,300 points.

Following that, New Page Patrol organized another backlog drive for articles in January 2024. The January drive started with 13,650 articles and reduced the backlog to 7,430 articles. Congratulations to JTtheOG, who achieved first place with 1,340 points in this drive.

Looking at the graph, it seems like backlog drives are one of the only things keeping the backlog under control. Another backlog drive is being planned for May. Feel free to participate in the May backlog drive planning discussion.

It's worth noting that both queues are gradually increasing again and are nearing 14,034 articles and 22,540 redirects. We encourage you to keep contributing, even if it's just a single patrol per day. Your support is greatly appreciated!

2023 Awards

Onel5969 won the 2023 cup with 17,761 article reviews last year - that's an average of nearly 50/day. There was one Platinum Award (10,000+ reviews), 2 Gold Awards (5000+ reviews), 6 Silver (2000+), 8 Bronze (1000+), 30 Iron (360+) and 70 more for the 100+ barnstar. Hey man im josh led on redirect reviews by clearing 36,175 of them. For the full details, see the Awards page and the Hall of Fame. Congratulations everyone for their efforts in reviewing!

WMF work on PageTriage: The WMF Moderator Tools team and volunteer software developers deployed the rewritten NewPagesFeed in October, and then gave the NewPagesFeed a slight visual facelift in November. This concludes most major work to Special:NewPagesFeed, and most major work by the WMF Moderator Tools team, who wrapped up their major work on PageTriage in October. The WMF Moderator Tools team and volunteer software developers will continue small work on PageTriage as time permits.

Recruitment: A couple of the coordinators have been inviting editors to become reviewers, via mass-messages to their talk pages. If you know someone who you'd think would make a good reviewer, then a personal invitation to them would be great. Additionally, if there are Wikiprojects that you are active on, then you can add a post there asking participants to join NPP. Please be careful not to double invite folks that have already been invited.

Reviewing tip: Reviewers who prefer to patrol new pages within their most familiar subjects can use the regularly updated NPP Browser tool.

Reminders:

  • You can access live chat with patrollers on the New Pages Patrol Discord.
  • Consider adding the project discussion page to your watchlist.
  • To opt out of future mailings, please remove yourself here.
