Temu flag fixes

Hi, I have posted Talk:Temu (company)#Request for more clean up and removing flag to ask for fixes to the page about Temu (company), the most downloaded app in the United States the last few months. [1] These tiny fixes address the last issues needed to remove the flag. . I have a conflict of interest as an employee of Temu and I would very much appreciate it if you might have time to take a look. Since you are a member of the WikiProject for Internet Culture, I thought you might possibly be interested in this internet cultural moment. [2], [3]. This page is in need of careful expansion in compliance with Wikipedia policy (and there is plenty of press coverage) but getting rid of the last tiny policy violations is a good place to start.

Thanks in advance for your consideration! Snowy2000 (talk) 02:15, 9 February 2023 (UTC)

Talk pages project

Screenshot showing the talk page design changes that are currently available as beta features at all Wikimedia wikis. These features include information about the number of people and comments within each discussion.
Some of the upcoming changes

The Editing team is nearly finished with this first phase of the Talk pages project. Nearly all new features are available now in the Beta Feature for Discussion tools.

It will show information about how active a discussion is, such as the date of the most recent comment. There will soon be a new "Add topic" button. You will be able to turn them off at Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-editing-discussion. Please tell them what you think.

Daily edit completion rate by test group: DiscussionTools (test group) and MobileFrontend overlay (control group)

An A/B test for Discussion tools on the mobile site has finished. Editors were more successful with Discussion tools. The Editing team is enabling these features for all editors on the mobile site.

New Project: Edit Check

The Editing team is beginning a project to help new editors of Wikipedia. It will help people identify some problems before they click "Publish changes". The first tool will encourage people to add references when they add new content. Please watch that page for more information. You can join a conference call on 3 March 2023 to learn more.

WikiProject "participate" button

Hi Harej! I noticed that the "participate" button here creates the correct user subpage (example) but doesn't add it to WP:WikiProject_Molecular_Biology/Members. Is there a bot or LUA script that needs to be configured? T.Shafee(Evo&Evo)talk 02:43, 4 April 2023 (UTC)

Or, if there's a bettter person for me to ask about it, feel free to point me in their direction. T.Shafee(Evo&Evo)talk 03:51, 11 April 2023 (UTC)

Credibility bot

Hi there. I saw a notice at WP:CWNBD about credibility bot, and then read the information at WP:CREDBOT. What I wasn't able to find is what criteria this bot uses to determine the credibility of a source. Does it just rely on WP:RSP, or is it more complex? Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 09:54, 9 August 2023 (UTC)

Magnolia677, at the moment, since the bot is only set up for WP:VSAFE, it pulls from WP:VSAFE/PSOURCES. As more projects are added, more source lists will be added, and we will also need to figure out how (and to what extent) project reports inherit ratings from the main WP:RSP list. Harej (talk) 17:39, 16 August 2023 (UTC)
Passed by and saw this... It would be great if each wikiproject started maintaining its own sources table (so they don't have to reach consensus with the entire wiki on RSP, and could include sources only of local interest to their topic; e.g. "any domain used in more than a dozen citations in this category"). Figuring out how to inherit ratings seems a fine problem to have. (What about cross-wikiproject ratings, for domains not in the global RSP?) – SJ + 00:26, 30 August 2023 (UTC)

Should I nominate Wikipedia:Deletion advocacy for deletion?

As you are the sole editor and it's over a decade since editing, I figured it's no longer needed, but if you still want it around for some reason I don't feel a need to go through the exercise. —siroχo 05:40, 4 November 2023 (UTC)

Excellent find. I've moved it to my user space. Harej (talk) 21:50, 4 November 2023 (UTC)
