License tagging for Image:MMBA.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:MMBA.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 15:08, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

Hi,

I have used this photo in my recent article in Cycloculture. Please let me know if you would like me to change the photo credit. Thanks, and NICE SHOT! Cheers Ebikeguy (talk) 01:19, 29 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It's not a big deal, but you can use my real name, Todd Scott, instead.

Done. Thanks.

M-1 Rail

Since ridership numbers are unpredictable, I'll go with the recent numbers, but M-1 Rail, itself, has stated time and time again that there will be 11 stations with the options of a 12th station. I'd change that back. Just go look at their website. --Criticalthinker (talk) 05:27, 19 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds good. I wasn't sure about the station count but sided with the EA number. I do trust the more recent EA's ridership numbers more since they were done by a more impartial body. Fishtoes2000 (talk) 17:04, 19 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Detroit Greenways Coalition

Hello Fishtoes2000,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Detroit Greenways Coalition for deletion, because it seems to be inappropriate for a variety of reasons.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Stesmo (talk) 18:56, 7 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of Interest

I've just added some of this same information to your article Detroit Greenways Coalition. Please take a look at Am I allowed to edit articles about myself or my organization? before editing entries where you might have COI as the Executive Director of the Detroit Greenways Coalition. To have another article created for Detroit Greenways Coalition and avoid Conflict of Interest (COI), you may want to visit Wikipedia:Articles for creation and request a non-affiliated editor to help you. For more info, check out I think my organization deserves an article on Wikipedia but none exists. What can I do?. Good luck at Detroit Greenways Coalition.Stesmo (talk) 20:22, 7 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Streetcar

Honestly, the entire section on the streetcar needs to be written to clarify. You are right, the Woodward Avenue Light Rail was proposed first. When the mayor and governor refused to fight for it and proposed BRT, instead, the private investors who had been part of the development of the plan for the light rail proposed a truncated route and a streetcar, instead. Even more than that, the entire project was renamed QLINE this year, so we should even be talking about "M1 Rail" aside from the fact that that is still the name of the development company. All of the tenses in that sub-section are wrong with parts of the article making it sound like the light rail is still on. If you'd like to rewrite it, you could. I might do it myself when I can find the appropriate news article detailing the history of these projects. --Criticalthinker (talk) 09:56, 8 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Actually M1 Rail was first publicly proposed then halted when the city's Woodward Light Rail EIS project started. When the latter was stopped as you note, M1 Rail restarted with their original plan. They modified the city's EIS but it's basically their original plan. Fishtoes2000 (talk) 12:20, 8 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please rewrite this section when you can. You seem to have a good take on what came in which order. --Criticalthinker (talk) 10:21, 9 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
