Your draft article, Draft:Norwegian Astronomy Society

Hello, Erik69. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Norwegian Astronomy Society".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 06:00, 7 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Norwegian Astronomical Society moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Norwegian Astronomical Society, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hi, I came across this while doing new page patrol, and had to move it to drafts because there is no evidence that the organisation is notable. Notability per WP:GNG requires significant coverage in multiple independent and reliable secondary sources; none of the sources cited meets this criteria. Please find and add more/better sources, and when you feel the article is ready you can submit it for pre-publication review by clicking that blue 'submit' button. Thank you, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:53, 18 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I do not understand! If you google this organization, "Norwegian Astronomical Society" you will not find much in english, as the small country Norway have its own language, Norwegian, Norsk.
But still there are 723 results, and the organization have existed since 1938.
If you google it in norwegian "Norsk Astronomisk Selskap", you will find 30600 results
Isnt the university Harvard.edu a reliable and independent source?
Is ESO reliable?
Is the university of Oslo reliable? Erik69 (talk) 19:09, 18 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
