Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Jhonattan Bello

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Jhonattan Bello, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Managing a conflict of interest

Information icon Hello, Edu.Report. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

April 2024

Information icon Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 20:07, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Edu.Report,
I've looked at your deleted pages and your writing was very promotional. This might be a talented person doing amazing things but Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and so articles have to have a neutral point-of-view and not promote a person, their work and their careers. Perhaps you can write content like this with your journalism but Wikipedia articles have to be dry, factual and balanced even when you are writing about someone you admire. And if this person is your teacher or co-worker, then you really shouldn't be writing about them because you probably have a conflict-of-interest and it will be hard for you to be ojective.
If you have questions about the proper tone to have when writing an article, please bring them to the Teahouse where experienced editors can provide you with advice and support. Good luck. Liz Read! Talk! 20:13, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Liz.
What is Teahouse and why does wikipedia has multiple pages for just one conversation? I understand what you said. I will try again. I do not really understand the reason I can not write about things I know. Should I write about things I do not know? I really appreciate your help as I am confused.
Do I need to submit more credentials? if so, where. Everything looks the same in the editor dashboard. Edu.Report (talk) 18:17, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Edu.Report click on each blue link under the heading Managing a conflict of interest above these comments and read why you should not be writing articles about people you know. Equine-man (talk) 18:20, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
We care nothing about your credentials or your personal knowledge. All we care about is your ability to neutrally summarize reliable sources. Promotional editing is forbidden on Wikipedia. Cullen328 (talk) 18:23, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you all for your great input. For me this seems too complex to create. I thought I will have support writing and editing before I got judge on my tone and inexperience. I wanted to create articles but maybe it is just not for me or I am just too young. I will close my account. Have a great day. Edu.Report (talk) 18:41, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
