On The Dumping Ground page, the reason I deleted Amy-Leigh Hickman from departing characters is because she isn't leaving. It's just the end of the 1st series, so no one knows if there is a 2nd series, so she isn't leaving. Thanks for the notification, but I think you mean CFD, not AFD. The template you should have used is {{cfd-notify}}, like this: {{subst:cfd-notify|Lists of bus routes in the United Kingdom}}. Hi. I saw your comment on WP:AIV. The text of WP:BLANKING says:

The removal of material from a user page is normally taken to mean that the user has read and is aware of its contents.

(This also applies to talkpages). There are specific cases where stuff shouldn't be deleted, but general warnings aren't in the list of cases. However "taken to mean that the user has read" is taken seriously. The fact that someone has vandalised, been warned then deleted the warning(s) doesn't mean they're able to stick their fingers in their ears and go "na na I can't hear you"; admins will note from the page history that warnings have been issued and ignored and will act appropriately. In the case of User:Kingfrogger666's edits they appear to have stopped editing, however I, and probably other admins, will be keeping an eye out to see if they start again. Blocks can be issued without prior warning (especially given that they're taken to have read the warnings…) Keep up the good work! Tonywalton ^Talk 00:50, 19 May 2013 (UTC)

Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made to Maya Nehme: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. I see that you have tagged my newly created article on actress Jennifer Pisana for speedy deletion citing - 'a very short article lacking sufficient context to identify the subject of the article.' May I inform you that I had just created the article a minute ago and it takes some time to fill it and add further context, hence, appearing "short" to you. Furthermore, if you do a quick google search for Jennifer Pisana, you can see that she has acted in quite a few films. Don't you think she deserves a Wikipedia page, at least tagged as 'to-be-improved' rather than 'deleted'? No, you're not supposed to do that. CSD deletion is not like PROD deletion. It's best to leave the matter up to an admin.

However, if someone who isn't the article creator decides it doesn't qualify for a CSD deletion, they can take the CSD tags down. Hi Davey,

I've noticed that you have made a request to have the ProjectEurovision newsletter to be sent to a specific talk page. I'm not really sure if that is possible, as I use EdwardsBot to send out the newsletters to everyone, and it tends to post them on the talk page of the members listed on the project; and not to a designated user area. Hello! I was wandering around and noticed your "I hate the VE" message. I just wanted to let you know that there are no plans to get rid of the current "Edit source" function (so far). (I doubt they ever will.) They just plan on making the VE the default. Ref: [1]

Also, one of your userboxes says that you use WinXP (and seem rather attached to it). You should be aware that XP will become completely unsupported on April 8, 2014 (April 8, 2014). Another month has gone by and with plenty of ups and downs within this project. An RfC has been rebooted on the project talk page (see Project Alerts below for more details). The OGAE articles are undergoing a complete rewrite to make these articles look more presentable and give more encyclopaedic value to them. They were in a disastrous and neglected state previously, so it is about time they got some well needed TLC treatment given to them all. Eurovision Song Contest 2013 is looking near completed, and in preparation for a GA-class submission. A huge thank you to all those who have contributed on that article in the last 12 months - some WikiLove to everyone for your continuous teamwork. For those of you who have got Eurovision withdrawal symptoms, then don't panic. We have the ABU TV Song Festival 2013 in Vietnam to look forward to, as well as the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Kiev. Your contributions to both of these articles are gratefully appreciated. Remember it is teamwork collaborations that help to make this project a success. Some of the article were in a very poor state, with the lead section of OGAE being an exact word-for-word copy of the "about us" section of OGAE's Facebook page. Eurovision Song Contest - Denmark 2014 A semi-protection has been placed onto the article to prevent further disruptive and unsourced editing from IPs. The protection expires in September 2013. Remember to use reliable sources at all times. Anything unsourced and/or is using an unreliable source will be removed. A list of some reliable sources can be found by clicking here. Avoid using the term "possible debut", "possible return", and "possible withdrawal". The term possible makes us sound speculative and is prohibited per Crystal Ball guidelines. Any such information should be added to the "Other countries" section, with a citation for verifiability. Also make sure that you regularly communicate with fellow project members via article talk pages. Communication is a natural human skill, and we should be trying our best to discuss things with each other, so that we all know what is going on. None of us are mind-readers. Junior Eurovision Song Contest - Kyiv 2013 The eleventh edition of Junior Eurovision is scheduled to take place in Kyiv, Ukraine on 30 November 2013. Seven countries have so far confirmed their participation, with Belgium having announced their withdrawal. Please discuss any news or potential additions to the article via the article talk or Project talk page - Thank You! ABU TV Song Festival - Hanoi 2013 The second ABU TV Song Festival is scheduled to take place on 26 October 2013, in the Vietnamese capital of Hanoi in the Opera House. The host broadcaster will be Vietnam Television. The article is already up and running. Your help to improve the article is gratefully appreciated. Keep a look out for news articles regarding participations etc. So far only Vietnam and Indonesia are confirmed. Eurovision Mini Memorandum 30 June 2013 There are a couple of discussions taking place via the project talk page that require urgent attention from as many members as possible. These are... A new RfC has opened at Project Eurovision in regards to how "Country by Contest" articles such as Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest, Denmark in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest and Australia in the ABU Song Festivals will be stylised. Also there is an urgent discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Eurovision#Colour codes for last placings, which is discussing a matter in connection to chromostereopsis (blue text on red backgrounds). And finally, the newsdesk are looking to recruit a couple of project volunteers to assist in compiling the monthly newsletters, as one of the co-ordinators has taken an indefinite period of time away from Wikipedia due to personal reasons. Regarding {emma fuhrmann that photo is a personal photo and keeps getting deleted. I have sent an email to permissions wiki people w/ copyright info. I don't know what else to do. It's a personal photo taken by a personal camera. Why do you guys think it's not. You won't find this pic on Getty or Wireimage - it's a personal photo. This photo cannot be bought. Hiya, If you've taken it personally then you'll need to prove (which I suppose you have by wp:otrs), If on the other hand you've just saved it from internet then it'll keep getting deleted as it's a copyright violation
