In response to your reply: No problem. Here are a few tips:

• Use the preview button so you don't clog the recent changes log.
• Always provide an edit summary, such as "added image, removed link" etc
• Don't copy directly from websites, rephrase everything in your own words (unless you absolutely need to quote something, because the quote is important)
• When you leave a comment on someone's talk page, always use the text --~~~~ to display your signature and the timestamp.
• The problem you're having with Image:Lighthouse Furniture Logo.jpg can be fixed by replacing the licensing with {{Non-free logo}}, that will tell people that it's a logo and it's copyrighted/trademarked to the organization.

In response to your reply: Having them say it's alright to use on Wikipedia isn't alright. They need to agree that it can be used for commercial use and can be altered, etc. There are a few things you can do in this case. You need to have them release the photos under a Free License, such as Creative Commons:

• either by a simple notice on the website, or a separate page
• or have them send their consent to Wikipedia
• or have them create an account on Wikipedia and upload it to the site, where they can state that they are the copyright holder and they are releasing it under a license.

In response to your reply: It needs to be stated somewhere that he releases it under a free license. I think the easiest way is to have him put a simple bit on one page of his website saying "All photos are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 License." and then you can add {{cc-by-3.0}} to the license of the image and in the Summary put a note that the copyright holder released it under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 License, and link to the page on his website which states that. Make sure him/you actually read the license though and agree to it though. Oh, and remember, at the end of your comments on talk page (like mine) always put --~~~~~ which will insert your signature and timestamp, otherwise a bot will come by the page and automatically add "this unsigned comment was made by [user] at [this time]." --Dan Leveille^TALK 20:51, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Another message: I edited Lighthouse Furniture a bit, changing some links and formatting a reference. I'm going to delete the category Charity from it because apparently that category doesn't exist. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion.
