I ran into Serene WIlliams IRL on Thursday when I emerged, like a white-haired, black-attired apparition, from a back door to her classroom. (The archive room, which I had only recently heard about and where I was hoping in vain to turn up new secondary sources.) It was probably like something out of A Christmas Carol.

We discovered that all three of us have an interest in the SHS article. I'd welcome your thoughts and involvement, when you get a chance, although please note that the editors watching the page have a hair-trigger about promotional rhetoric and disclosing connections.
