User talk:CushmanAmbergCommunications

Welcome

Hello, CushmanAmbergCommunications, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I notice that one of the first articles you created appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been deleted for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of deletion, you might like to draft your article before submission, then get me or any other editor to proofread it. To start creating a draft article, just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit that page as you would any other. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

The one firm rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that if more than one person is using this account to edit, then unfortunately it will be blocked from editing.

If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

I hope not to seem unfriendly or make you feel unwelcome, but I noticed your username, and I am concerned that it might not meet Wikipedia's username policy for the following reason: Your username appears to be a company name.. After you look over that policy, could we discuss that concern here?

I'd appreciate learning your own views, for instance your reasons for wanting this particular name, and what alternative username you might accept that avoids raising this concern.

You have several options freely available to you:

Thank you. Gigs (talk) 00:53, 30 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You Said: "I notice that one of the first articles you created appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest."

I am trying to fix this. I submitted a user name change. What else can I do?

Hi, I can't say I'm following your question. Could you please clarify? JaakobouChalk Talk 17:24, 30 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think I understand your question. The article Cushman Amberg Communications, which you created, may not be neutral in accordance with Wikipedia's policy on this. Your username suggests you are an employee of Cushman Amberg Communications and therefore may have a conflict of interest and try to promote the company, rather than give and unbiased and neutral coverage of the company. Apart from requesting a username change (which you have already done) I would suggest reading Wikipedia's policies on being neutral and unbiased and also writing in the correct tone. I hope this helps. Jozal (talk) 17:38, 30 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think you were given some good advice above, I'm nulling the template now. You can always add it again if you have another question. Killiondude (talk) 18:01, 30 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
