  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page.

The reference provided by you is unreliable since it quotes an opinion by a politician (without providing any details) and does not mention the number 174 anywhere. Moreover it clearly states that government was formed with support of 169 MLAs, as provided in the article. Also there is a clearly written note in Maharashtra Legislative Assembly which asks not to make changes to party totals without making corresponding edits to the section "Members of Legislative Assembly" (which you are not adhering to). Also note that party colors are based on community wide consensus and should not be changed without reaching a consensus on the same. Dhruv edits (talk) 21:25, 5 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Mako001. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Maharashtra Legislative Council, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Mako001 (C)  (T)  🇺🇦 09:05, 20 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of 2026 Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council election

Hello Chennai Super Kings Lover,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username MPGuy2824, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, 2026 Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council election, for deletion, because there's already a page about that topic at 2021 Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council election. Please don't be discouraged; we appreciate your effort in creating new articles. To avoid this in the future, consider using the search function to find pages that already cover what you want to write about.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.

For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|MPGuy2824}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Warning

Hello. This came to my attention here. When someone asserts that a source you're using does not state what you're claiming it does, what you then need to do, what is your WP:BURDEN, is to prove that it does — on the talk page, post an excerpt of the proof. So, an objection of that nature concerning your reliance on a source for Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) (which apparently has no abbreviation) as "far right" (diff), that requires the proof I speak of above (pertinent excepts).

The argument could also be made that this one single source, even if it does say that, is not enough to substantiate that ("far right") claim (I have no idea). But one thing at a time. The point, though, is that failure to follow BURDEN while continuing to edit war is likely to result in sanctions under the WP:ARBIND sanctions regime (see thread above this one for details). Thank you. El_C 12:38, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thank you for contributing to the article Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. However, please do not use unreliable sources such as blogs, your own website, websites and publications with a poor reputation for checking the facts or with no editorial oversight, expressing views that are widely acknowledged as extremist, that are promotional in nature, or that rely heavily on rumors and personal opinions, as one of Wikipedia's core policies is that contributions must be verifiable through reliable sources, preferably using inline citations. Information icon Hi Chennai Super Kings Lover! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Dhruv edits (talk) 06:36, 10 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Next Punjab Legislative Assembly election moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Next Punjab Legislative Assembly election, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Infobox in election articles

Adding leaders on infobox of election pages is case specific, not hard and fast rule. CM candidate or the face of party in that state is added based on consensus at that time, which should not be changed after the election. For elections that are further away, state president is added until a CM candidate is announced or there is a prominent face of the party for that election. For 2022 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly election, Priyanka Gandhi was the face of the party in the state, and was added to the infobox for the same reason. Do not undertake edit warring. Dhruv edits (talk) 00:19, 5 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

But You Said that State President is leader in infobox Chennai Super Kings Lover (talk) 12:33, 5 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Chennai Super Kings Lover Like I have said above, it's case specific, there is no fixed rule. For elections that are more than 2-3 months away, we don't know definitely who CM candidate/ party face will be (except incumbent CM), that's why state Presidents are added. When CM candidate is announced, state president will be replaced by that candidate. Dhruv edits (talk) 20:08, 5 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Gana Suraksha Party. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Liz Read! Lok Sabha

@Chennai Super Kings Lover As Lok Sabha election is national level election, hence important national alliances should be added to infobox of Lok Sabha elections in various states. That is why, I added BJP (NDA), INC (UPA) and CPIM (Left Front) in infobox of Bihar and Kerala in different order despite NDA and Left Front not scoring good in previous elections of Kerala and Bihar respectively. IUML is part of UPA, so I think we should not add it in infobox, we should add one party from each alliance now. RLJP and LJP (RV) were not present in last election in Bihar, one party LJP was present. So we should remove them from Bihar infobox as it will be wrong to mention their last election seats. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Rajya Sabha. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.DaxServer (t · m · c) 10:37, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Tripura election

@Chennai Super Kings Lover I added the link of official facebook page of CPIM Tripura to cite a statement : In 2022, many party workers of BJP, IPFT and TIPRA joined CPIM. But an editor removed them. Link of reliable facebook page has already been added in 2022 Gujarat election. Can I add the statement again? What do you think? XYZ 250706 (talk) 16:08, 6 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

United Progressive Alliance

Ready to help against the biased edits made by user SharadSHRD7. I think he is probably aligned with AIADMK.

2024 Lok Sabha

I think adding regional alliances in 2024 Lok Sabha election will give wrong estimation. Such date many regional parties are adding with NDA on national level and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha are in UPA on national level where JDU and RJD and others are not part of UPA at national level. There can be numerous regional alliances, if we start to add all alliances, the list will be too long. User SharadSHRD was trying to push up AITC first adding federal front (which was a proposed alliance in 2019 but could not materialize) and then adding AITC to infobox. He is imposing his edits over others and if anyone is against him, he is complaining against that user to the administrators. Actually no party in India is part of any alliance in all the states where it has presence. For example, NPP contested against BJP in Arunachal Pradesh. SO we should as Left Front in alliances section. There are many important parties which are not being added in this list. So we should add the parties and alliances like this :

Parties and alliances

Political alliances

With the exception of 2014, no single party has won the majority of seats in the Lok Sabha since 1984, and therefore, forming alliances is the norm in Indian elections.

There were three main national pre-poll alliances. They are the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) headed by the BJP, the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) headed by the INC, Left Democratic Front of Communist-leaning parties. Given the volatile nature of coalition politics in India, alliances may change during and after the election.

The INC did not form alliances in states where it is in direct contest with the BJP. These states include Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. Parties of UPA contest election being part of UDF, SPA, MGB (Bihar), MVA.

In 23rd Party Congress of Communist Party of India (Marxist) at Kannur in the state of Kerala, the final draft of the party's political resolution was prepared and it gave thrust on increasing the independent strength of CPI(M) and on empowering the Left parties as an third alternative without being part of Congress alliance nationally.[1] CPIM general secretary Sitaram Yechury and the delegates of the party congress gave final seal for the formation of Left Democratic Front in national level to unseat BJP from the central government.[2][3] On 11 January 2023, Sitaram Yechury announced their intension to form Left Democratic Front in a press meeting in Tripura.[4]

Political parties

More than __ (value) parties contested in these elections. Most of them were small with regional appeal. The main parties are the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Indian National Congress (INC).— Preceding unsigned comment added by XYZ 250706 (talkcontribs)

@XYZ 250706:: There won't be numerous alliances because minor parties (without national/state party status) and state parties which don't win any seat in past election/don't have any seat in current Lok Sabha, will not be added. If you want to discuss about this topic, please comment in the talk page of specific article to pave way for more users to engage in your discussion. Thank you. Left alliance

@Chennai Super Kings Lover User Sharad SHRD7 is again started disruptions and he is trying to delete an article written by me : Alliances formed by left-wing parties in the states of India. Wikipedia reviewer Onel 2569 (I forgot the exact name) previously said me to add more citations to the page and I added that and then he said nothing against that page. Alliances

@Chennai Super Kings Lover I came to know that NCP contested against INC in Katihar Lok Sabha constituency, Lakshadweep Lok Sabha constituency, Outer Manipur Lok Sabha constituency in 2019 and UP election in 2022. On the other hand, Shiv Sena contested against INC in 2021 Dadra and Nagar Haveli Lok Sabha constituency bye election and 2022 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly election. MNF, NDPP, NPP, NPF contested against BJP in some seats in 2019. I doubt they can be called national level member of UPA and NDA. What do your think? XYZ 250706 (talk) 16:23, 24 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Besides, NCP and Shiv Sena contested against UPA in 2022 Goa election also. XYZ 250706 (talk) 16:28, 24 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
JMM contested against INC in Bihar and WB in 2019. XYZ 250706 (talk) 16:32, 24 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

In constituency level, allies contest against each other some times, but what matters is the state or national level election where they mostly contest with alliance,Hope your confusion is over, Thank You Chennai Super Kings Lover (talk)

@Chennai Super Kings Lover [11] This citation says that CPIM general secretary has announced that his party will ally with SP in UP. It is not speculation. And if you say about the name of the alliance, the name is derived from [12]. XYZ 250706 (talk) 14:26, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Maharastra Legislative Council

Your recent edits to the page aforementioned have dragged my concerns regarding the numbers you put on the page, those numbers basically exceed the total number of seats in that house. Kindly refer to the page: http://mls.org.in/PDF2023/BUDGET/member-list-council.pdf. This is the latest version of the list of members published by the Maharastra Legislative Council for the ongoing budget session. Hope you have better time reading that file by scrolling down to the last page. Regards. Wiki Master World (talk) 16:24, 21 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

See @Wiki Master World, In the page of Mizoram Legislative Assembly, when I added party seats on their official website point of view,refer[6] , @User: Dhruv edits, senior Wikipedia editor reverted it [7] stating that though Official website refer it as update or 2023 latest, it is not true, because as you know government works are too slow in India, this pdf which you are referring was same before latest mlc election, the number of parties are increased as MVA won 3 seats and BJP won 1.[13] Hope your doubt is clear. Thank You! Chennai Super Kings Lover (talk)

But the numbers you put still don't add up to 78, what sorcery is this? Wiki Master World (talk) 18:01, 21 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

UPA

@Chennai Super Kings Lover [14] this citation directly or indirectly says that UPA was the alliance led by Congress with the help of like-minded parties from 2004 to 2014 and Congress wants to rejuvenate the UPA model for 2024 election. Should we keep UPA as existing alliance or not? Besides, regional parties having alliance or seat-sharing with congress in the state does not mean that they are part of UPA. Please give your valuable opinion. XYZ 250706 (talk) 06:35, 27 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

2024

@Chennai Super Kings Lover National parties in India have some extra advantage over other parties. They can user their particular symbol all over India and the government provides land or a building for the National parties to erect their party headquarters. I think national parties in India can be regarded as major parties for Lok Sabha election. Besides if you look at the national parties, all parties (Except NPP) have national significance. Shouldn't we add them in the infobox for 2024 Lok Sabha election? XYZ 250706 (talk) 05:53, 11 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

ECI rule

@Chennai Super Kings Lover Is there any rule of ECI that a major party for election should have more than 5% votes? You wrote in your edit in 2023 Nagaland Legislative Assembly election : But as per eci rules for major party 5% vote percentage is needed and RPI(A) won above it https://results.eci.gov.in/ResultAcGenMar2023/partywiseresult-S17.htm?st=S17. [N.B.: You wrote RPI(A) instead of LJP(RV) by mistake] Can you give source for it? XYZ 250706 (talk) 11:16, 4 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@XYZ 250706! User:Dhruv edits few months back told me that 5% vote share party is added as if all parties winning seat would be added then the Infobox would be too long, RPI (A) won 3%+ vote share 2023 Nagaland Legislative Assembly election#Results, so I had not added them in Infobox. Thank You! Chennai Super Kings Lover (talk)

@Chennai Super Kings Lover Hi, your recent additions [10] are maybe not required; for I belief that images representational and popular to the particular state should be inserted, which also has some significance with historical background. 2024 election

@Chennai Super Kings Lover The opposition alliance has not yet taken the full shape. Some members may go out. CPIM leaders (both national and state level) and Congress leaders (West Bengal and Northeast units) have discarded alliance with TMC. [11][12][13][14]. Some Congress leaders have also given threat to their high command that they will leave the party if alliance with TMC is formed in WB. Besides LDF and UDF alliance is not possible in Kerala. One cannot deny that many a member of this new alliance INDIA will contest against each other in many constituencies in different states. So I think we should not add INDIA alliance in Next Indian general election now and it should be added after confirmation of seat sharing formula and keep the alliance article as draft for now. XYZ 250706 (talk) 17:15, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Besides Congress Lok Sabha leader and WB state president Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury also discarded alliance with TMC. XYZ 250706 (talk) 17:26, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@XYZ 250706, On this issue, we have to wait for the committee formed to survey the seat sharing finalised in the next meeting in Mumbai, to give the report on if the alliance will contest in all parts of India or will contest state wise! Though Adhir Ranjan Choudhary refused alliance with TMC before meeting but now Congress President, Mr Mallikarjun Kharge has said that all members of INDIA will contest together, and these statements are contradictory, so we have to wait till the next meeting in Mumbai for clearity.

Thank You✨

But CM has said that he is allied with NDA in centre but still he did not said about state, So You can use MNF in NDA in political alliance map but should be removed from Mizoram Legislative Assembly as MNF allied with NDA as He had said about state in 2018 , that he does not need NDA to form government in state.Refer:https://thewire.in/politics/i-wont-need-the-bjp-to-form-government-in-mizoram-zoramthanga
Also BJP Mizoram Leader Have mentioned MNF as true partner of NDA in Centre. Refer:https://nenow.in/north-east-news/mizoram/mnf-true-partner-of-bjp-led-nda-government-says-bjp-mizoram-in-charge-mmhonlumo-kikon.html

quote=BJP national spokesperson and state in-charge of Mizoram, Mmhonlumo Kikon has said the ruling Mizo National Front (MNF) is the true partner of the BJP led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government at the centre.

@Chennai Super Kings Lover
As I said that the politics of the country has changed a lot from 2020s. The sources which you are quoting are from 3-5 years back. Even if you understand basic English you will understand the difference between won't and don't. The wire article is before the counting even started. He said he won't need BJP's support means he was sure about that he will have enough MLAs of his own after counting that he can make govt on his own.
Coming to my source. Its his most recent quote. A statement from 3 years ago cant overrule what he said recently. He said that MNF is a part of NDA. He also was at NDA meeting in Delhi. He didn't said anything like that he is the partner only at centre and not at state.
And I saw that you reverted my edit while the discussion was going on. This is called edit war. Don't do that again since it is against the rules. I have removed your edits and made the corrections. If you still have any questions please discuss before re-reverting. Shaan SenguptaTalk 07:15, 25 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Both the new agencies that you quoted are not considered reliable sources on Wikipedia. Please read the rules before engaging in an edit war with me or anyone else ever again. 07:23, 25 July 2023 (UTC)
MNF is not part of NDA in state, that's why it was not added with BJP, You said while putting MNF with BJP in assembly that it now allied with BJP.In your source, CM said he is part of NDA, but this source clearly states that MNF is not allied with NDA in the state.Being in NDA meeting doesn't mean he is with NDA in both state and centre, for example: TMC is part of INDIA,but is not allied with Congress in state.
This is the case here. Read the Although the MNF is a member of BJP led North East Democratic Alliance (NEDA) and an ally of the NDA at the Centre, the party does not have any tie-up with the BJP in the state. PTI COR RG carefully, it is mentioned MNF is not allied with NDA in state. Chennai Super Kings LoverTalk(talk) 07:58, 25 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Brother this source is again of January. And I am telling you again. Compare the political situation of the country in Jan Vs July. You will get your answer. Shaan SenguptaTalk 11:03, 25 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

But Bro, since in January, MNF was not allied with BJP in the state, now also CM of Mizoram had not said that MNF is allied with BJP in the assembly, thought part of NDA in Centre. MNF is very critical political party it had also alliance with INC in MCDs and also suspended an MLA for toppling Cong-MNF Government.[16] Thank You ✨ Chennai Super Kings LoverTalk

Ways to improve Next Indian general election in Mizoram

Hello, Chennai Super Kings Lover,

Thank you for creating Next Indian general election in Mizoram.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Hi! Thanks for creating this article. It's good on the whole, but could use a little bit more prose and references from additional sources. It seems that sources could be used related to INC and MNF. Have a great day!

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|TartarTorte}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Hi, @Chennai Super Kings Lover I wanted to discuss with you about BVA. After finding several more articles about this, I came to know that they aren't unallied. So, if we'll discuss about this and come to a conclusion, It would be beneficial for these important government pages. Thank you Maha Sainik (talk) 11:56, 14 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Kindly cite some reliable articles about BVA part of NDA Government in Maharashtra, Except Floor Test one. (As Floor Test, No confidence motion doesn't confirm alliance, like BJD supported NDA in recent No Confidence Motion, and Also Rajasthan CPIM supported Congress Government in crisis but currently unallied).
Thank You✨

Exactly, in the same way I wanted to draw your attention towards the point that, MNS is not in the NDA alliance , Still we count their MLA in maharashtra government as their MLA had voted for CM Shinde in trust vote. At the time of MVA, This MLA of MNS was UNALLIED. But, in Rajyasabha election (10th June 2022) & in the Vidhanparishad election (20th June 2022) This MLA of MNS voted for BJP candidate and they came closer to Shinde and Fadnavis. They did not officially enter to NDA ever. In the same case 3 MLAs of BVA voted for BJP candidate for Rajyasabha & Vidhanparishad election & then voted for CM Shinde in the trust vote [16]https://www.freepressjournal.in/mumbai/maharashtra-vasai-mla-hitendra-thakur-likely-to-get-ministerial-berth . Hitendra Thakur never remained unallied, He always enjoys the power with the Govt. He had extended his support to BJP & Fadnavis just after 2019 elections when it was clear that BJP is coming into power again. Then, MVA formed and again Hitendra Thakur extended his support to Uddhav Thackeray & MVA. And again when new government formed under the leadership of CM Shinde, BVA voted for the government in the trust vote. Sanjay Raut told the media that BVA didn't voted for MVA in Rajyasabha & Vidhanparishad elections even if they are in the government So to give a tight reply to him, Hitendra thakur then said that our MLAs aren't tied to anyone's door(which is your reference). Maha Sainik (talk) 13:36, 14 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
As the reference seems correct. You can add it in Maharashtra Legislative Assembly
Thank You✨
. Chennai Super Kings Lover (talk) 13:46, 14 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the confirmation @Chennai Super Kings Lover I think we should add these 3 BVA MLAs in government only and not in the NDA. What do you guys say ? @Chennai Super Kings Lover . I suggest updated Government no. is 205 and updated NDA no. is 201(Excluding BVA & MNS) Maha Sainik (talk) 13:55, 14 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Now coming to the discussion above I agree on your point of MNS. But for BVA please do that only after citing a reference (if its not there). Shaan SenguptaTalk 04:46, 15 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Chennai Super Kings Lover
Isn't support to BJP in govt means part of NDA? Shaan SenguptaTalk 06:09, 15 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I think it isn't as AIMIM supported RJD-JDU government in Bihar Legislative Assembly. They were not added in alliance, since last few months the page it is removed by unknown editor, Will should re-edit with reliabe source!

AIMIM is not a part of govt or alliance in Bihar. It neither suoports Nitish Govt. But here case is different. Kadu supports BJP-Shinde govt. In the reference he just said that he made a mistake. He never announced alliance breakup. Shaan SenguptaTalk 06:21, 15 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No, AIMIM supported RJD-JDU Government. Just like Kadu's party supported BJP.

But the reference mentions about One Current AIMIM MLA. Chennai Super Kings Lover (talk) 06:28, 15 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
His quote in article is "BJP should have discussed it with all constituents of alliance". Which means he is the part of alliance. Shaan SenguptaTalk 06:25, 15 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
But this constituents of alliance may say about Shinde Sena, as Kadu has strong relationship with them, and he went to Guwahati during the crisis with them.
I think we should find a clear reference which says it is part of NDA to avoid confusion.

Shinde Sena itself is a part of NDA. Shaan SenguptaTalk 06:34, 15 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Chennai Super Kings Lover @Shaan Sengupta Bachhu Kadu & his PJP is a part of NDA alliance as PM Modi called him for the NDA Meeting on 18th July and he was present. Total 38 parties were there. @Chennai Super Kings Lover Government has 205 MLAs : NDA(201)+BVA(03)+MNS(01). You've updated 201 infront of the government also Maha Sainik (talk) 07:15, 15 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Cite Grand National Assembly of Turkey or Nagaland Legislative Assembly as supply and Confidence number not added in government. Chennai Super Kings Lover (talk) 07:17, 15 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Chennai Super Kings Lover I think these 205 MLAs are clearly in the support of the government so should be added in the Government. We've added Unallied MLAs in the opposition but factually Unallied means they aren't actually opposing the Government nor they are supporting. Same way, 205 MLAs are clearly present within the Government so the no. of Govt should be [205] Maha Sainik (talk) 07:49, 15 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

"Template:User Hindu" is a template not an article. It clearly stated that the user is. The one who agrees will keep it and the one who doesn't won't. Everyone has different thoughts. Templates userboxes are made to show own thoughts. You can too make your own template according to what you think. Don't alter my template. That is not for imposing something. It clearly says The user is follower of Hinduism and Hindutva both. Shaan SenguptaTalk 17:07, 21 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

But this Template:User Hindu was not created by you, it was created by an editor in 2016, and this template is used by all Hindu Wikipedians, by personalising it and aligning it with Hindutva will create the Hindus using this template to create a new one which only says about Hinduism not Hindutva, So If you want to use Hindutva, I suggest you to create a separate template like Template:User Hindu1 etc.
And don't alter the template created in 2016 for Hinduism to be aligned with Hindutva.
Thank You! Chennai Super Kings Lover (talk) 00:13, 22 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The template that I created was a redirect to UBX/hindu template. Please read template history. You will get it. I removed the redirect and created the template. The template was transformed into a redirect in December 2016 only. First get your knowledge correct. Then debate. You will understand it very well. And please donot make changes until we solve this. Shaan SenguptaTalk 01:15, 22 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Shaan Sengupta Dear fellow editor,
The potential promotion of "Hindutva" through the userbox you created/edited:
  1. Explicit Promotion: The userbox states, "This user is a Sanatani Hindu and an ardent follower of Hindutva." By including "Hindutva" alongside one's religious affiliation, it explicitly promotes the ideology and associates the user with it.
  2. Symbolic Alignment: The userbox implies a connection between the user's identity and Hindutva. This alignment can be interpreted as endorsing the ideology's principles and beliefs.
  3. Endorsement of Ideology: Declaring oneself as an "ardent follower of Hindutva" goes beyond expressing personal beliefs. It can be seen as actively endorsing and supporting the ideology.
  4. Creating a Perception: Users who openly identify with Hindutva could be perceived by others as advocates for the ideology. This perception might extend beyond the user's intention to express their beliefs.
  5. Conflict with Neutrality: Wikipedia aims to provide neutral information and avoid promoting specific viewpoints. Including a userbox that explicitly associates with an ideological movement like Hindutva could conflict with this neutrality.
  6. Avoiding Potential Controversy: "Hindutva" is a divisive and contested term that carries political implications. As a user-generated content platform, Wikipedia must be cautious about content that might spark controversy or promote advocacy.
In conclusion, while userboxes are meant for personal expression, openly identifying with Hindutva in a Wikipedia context might inadvertently promote or advocate for a political ideology. (Reference: WP:UBCR)

Hello, Indian Ancestry is defined as per Ancient Indian architecture. Indo-Islamic came into existence no earlier than 1100s. Before that Indian Architecture was in existence. Shaan SenguptaTalk 12:52, 25 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Indian rock-cut architecture also an example of Indian Ancestry. Shaan SenguptaTalk 12:58, 25 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, but I could find in Wikipedia that says that Indian Ancestry is defined as per Ancient Indian architecture. And there is no valid reason for remove Taj Mahal Image as it was added before you edited. Chennai Super Kings Lover (talk) 13:20, 25 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Just added before doesn't mean it's correct. Since you understood that you belive that Indian Ancestry is defined by Ancient Indian Architecture. Please look at that page. It is costly said that it ranges from Prehistoric period to Early Middle Ages (550–1200 CE). Arrival of Islam in Indian subcontinent is 1193 which is centuries late compared to Bronze or Early Middle Ages. This things very well defines what is Indian Ancestry. Islamic or European Invaders who came from outside can't be termed as Ancestors. Shaan SenguptaTalk 13:47, 25 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Something which comes outside India is not always bad, even ideals of democracy, fraternity etc came from Outside, Taj Mahal was made by Mughals but now it is Indian Property and UNESCO World Heritage Site, And Indian Ancestry Identity is not need to be taken so far by times, Template:User Indian template is used by Indian and NRI who went abroad after 1940s, no need to go to 600 CE building for this template. Thank You! Chennai Super Kings Lover (talk)

Its not about what is good or bad. Anyways Islamic invaders did not bad than good for India. I can agree on one thing. You can take any image that's built by Indian rulers/people. But anything built by an invader whether good or bad can't be a part of Indian Ancestry. Indian Ancestry is of Indian people. Shaan SenguptaTalk 01:31, 26 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding WikiProject Indian Politics

Hi please don't modify Wikiprojects template userboxes as you did at Template:User Indian politics They are made as per a standard.

Why are you changing my templates

Why are you changing my templates. I made Template:User Akhand Bharat you changed its content and moved it to Template:User Hindu Akhand Bharat. How is it that. It just mentions user want Akhand Bharat. Nowhere it is mentioned as Hindu Akhand Bharat. Why did you change it on your own without discussing. You want to depict something the way you want. It didn't exist. I created it. You create one for yourself. Don't change what I have made for me. You can make other as Template:User Akhand Bharat 1 or whatever name you want. Secondly, Template:User Hindu was a redirect to other template. I made it. People are using it. Noone has made any objection yet. Only you are the one to make it. I removed Hindutva after I agreed to your point. But everything wont to be done according to how you want. Sanatan is the other name of Hinduism. Reformists are not part of Sanatana. Donot change my templates without discussing and notifying. Shaan SenguptaTalk 09:37, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Sock investigation

@Lionel Messi Lover you initially declared your alternative accounts but from what I can see in the current version only Template:User alternative account is there which doesn't reveals the alternative accounts. I would suggest you put {{User alternative account name|Diamond Leveler|(other accounts names)}} on userpage of this account and {{User alternative account|Lionel Messi Lover}} on userpage of Diamond Leveler and all other accounts. This is all within the rules and what you are required to do. I also see that you created a userpage for Abhisruti qho has been inactive for more than a year. Is that also your account? If yes, then please declare that too and all others that you have. Because if there is another report filed on you and a checkuser checks it with his tools its gonna unearth some possible sleepers too which will land you in problem. ShaanSenguptaTalk 12:39, 8 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I have mentioned User: Diamond Leveler in my user page, User:Settings gujrti is commons account so no need to mention it as it has zero edit. User: Abhisruti is not my account, it's my friend's account and since last year she in far away town, So as not used by me since a year, I can't say it my account, so I decide to leave the account as it as it's. You yourself added Patwon ki Haveli then Hawa Mahal which I never objected. Then what made you decide to unilaterally change it and readd Taj Mahal. I would repeat myself. Taj Mahal is Indo-Islamic architecture and not Indian Ancestry. If you want it on your userpage, please make Template:Indo-Islamic or anything like that. Taj Mahal can't be accepted as Indian ancestry. ShaanSenguptaTalk 18:10, 21 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Taj Mahal can be accepted as Indian Ancestry as it is a great symbol of Indian Medival Era architecture. Isreali PM Netanyahu, Canadian PM Justin Trudeau, even former US president Donald Trump visited specifically Taj Mahal, so this is a global Symbol of India internationally and every Indian should be proud of it and it is now owned by our government, regardless who made it. Lionel Messi Lover (talk) 02:09, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Lionel Messi Lover First of all you should not have reverted the status quo. Just because someone visited doesn't mean it can be accepted as Indian ancestry. Yes it is in India, it is owned by Indian government. But these are totally different from Indian ancestry. Indo-Islamic is not Indian ancestry. Indian architecture is Indian ancestry. I am removing it untill this is resolved. You only added Hawa Mahal. Do we need to discuss this after every few months? We need to add something that is traditional Indian architecture with no foreign influence. Mughal architecture is influenced by Arab architecture. ShaanSenguptaTalk 05:22, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
There is nothing foreign influence, Taj Mahal is considered the finest example of Mughal architecture, a style that combines elements from Persian, Indian, and Islamic architectural styles cite: https://www.tajmahal.gov.in/overview.aspx which means it's an amulgum of Indo-Persian architecture, and as The peoples of India and Iran, two ancient neighbouring civilisations, have enjoyed close historical links through the ages, had a common homeland and share a common linguistic and racial past. cite:https://www.indianembassytehran.gov.in/eoithr_pages/MTc,
which means Indo-Persian architecture is not foreign and as they had a common homeland in the past. Lionel Messi Lover (talk) 09:56, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Lionel Messi Lover That's my point. Mughal architecture is a combination of Indian, Persian, Turkish and others. This is said in your given source only. Having links doesn't mean it is same. Your source itself says that Taj is different from pre-Islamic architecture that was there in India. It combines other architecture in its completion. Which means it is not solely purely Indian in nature. Hence can't be termed as Indian Ancestry. ShaanSenguptaTalk 11:34, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thought I may have misunderstood the targets of genocide but killing of 1,111 intellectuals in Dacca University a case of Anti-intellectualism, and why was that removed?, They were one of the targets of the genocide, So I am adding it back.
Thank you! Lionel Messi Lover (talk) 13:04, 2 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You have to verify your claim by citing a reliable source or it will be considered an original research and will be removed. This time you have cited another Wikipedia article which is not a reliable source, neither it verifies your claim. Nomian (talk) 05:55, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Since you have accepted that you have a misunderstanding about the topic, it is better to first discuss your proposed edit on the talk page and reach a consensus before adding them to the article. There were many killings but all of them do not fall under the definition of genocide which has a very specific meaning in International Law. The source you added is a news article which is not reliable enough to cite in an article about a historical topic. We mostly rely on academic sources in these cases. Before you dig into cherry-picking another source, I would suggest you again to first discuss your edits on the talk page since all your edits so far have been quite problematic and have disrupted the article. Nomian (talk) 19:49, 5 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Bangladesh genocide, you may be blocked from editing. Nomian (talk) 08:14, 6 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Re: RfC

Someone (including you or me) could post on Wikipedia:Closure requests right now to request that the RfC be closed. There is no fixed conclusion date for an RfC, but RfCs are typically left open for between 7 and 30 days. In this case, because we both think there is active harm in propagating this misinformation, it might be wise to ask sooner.

Is there any reason that you enclosed your question in quotes? Malerisch (talk) 12:55, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank You! Lionel Messi Lover (talk) 13:14, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Can you kindly post on Wikipedia:Closure requests right now to request that the RfC be closed? Lionel Messi Lover (talk) 13:20, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I added a request, but I can't guarantee that someone will close it immediately. Some closure requests have been left unresolved there for a week or more. Malerisch (talk) 13:43, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank You for your help! Your edits are appreciated. Lionel Messi Lover (talk) 14:48, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

January 2024

Information icon Hello, I'm Someone who's wrong on the internet. I noticed that you recently removed content from Islam in Assam without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. I think you miss understood my edit. I move the human right issues (Discrimination of Bengali Muslims) in the last part of the page like Islam in the Netherlands. Lionel Messi Lover (talk) 01:49, 18 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Narendra Modi

I have reverted your edits on the hindutva section- what you added has no relation to hindutva. Please add the section in his general election campaigns (after 2014 and 2019; no one has added 2024 yet). And then add that there. Pharaoh496 (talk) 14:13, 23 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

There is a relations between Hindutva and anti-muslim hate.[1][2] Hindutva pop artists defend their music as neither xenophobic nor Islamophobic, arguing it promotes truth. Popular Hindutva pop artists like Laxmi Dubey and Prem Krishnavanshi mainstream the xenophobic values of the genre.[3][2] So, my edits are correct with reliable source as per WP: Reliable. If you have any problem with my edits , discuss it in Talk:Narendra Modi.
Thank You!
