The article Galym Akhmetov has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Ways to improve Geum Sae-rok

Hello, Braveattack,

Thank you for creating Geum Sae-rok.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

This is a biography of a living person which does not state how she is notable or give any references.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Boleyn}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Geum Sae-rok moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Geum Sae-rok, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Japanese basketball players

Hi. I note you've recently edited a few biographies on Japanese basketball players, stating their date of death. However, you've not supplied a reliable source for each of these. I've had a quick look on the Japanese WP articles, and was able to cite one of them, but I don't speak Japanese. Per WP:BLP, if you state that someone is now dead, you'll need to source that when you update the page. Thanks. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me

Information icon Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to Sadie Katz. Thank you. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 06:42, 6 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Sadie Katz. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 07:14, 6 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not cite the IMDb or copy its content into Wikipedia. The IMDb is user-generated and should never be cited in a biography of a living person. If you can't locate a reliable source for a birth date, just leave it out. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 07:15, 6 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Do you watching IMDB link? https://www.imdb.com/name/nm2048731/ --Braveattack (talk) 07:17, 6 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
That doesn't make sense. Are you using Google Translate? Like I just told you, the IMDb is not a reliable source. It can not be used as a citation on English Wikipedia for biographical information. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 07:21, 6 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I see. --Braveattack (talk) 07:38, 6 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for August 26

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Fencing at the 1959 Summer Universiade, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Attila Kovács. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Ice hockey medalists

Hi and thanks for your edits on Ice hockey at the 1990 Asian Winter Games may I ask how did you find them ? and most importantly can you add the list of medalists in other sports too ? (I mean biathlon at 1990 Games). Sports2021 (talk) 21:40, 5 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The Video of 1990 Winter Asian Games hockey match is on YouTube(1990年第2回アジア冬季競技会_中国対日本)--Braveattack (talk) 01:08, 6 December 2022 (UTC).[reply]
Thanks a LOT, it will be great if you improve the medalists lists in other Games and other sports if you ran into videos like this. may I ask how did you sort them ? I made lots of medalists list and usually prefer to sort them by shirt number if available, if not by alphabet. Sports2021 (talk) 02:57, 7 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Chinese and Japanese players has been edits by jersey number. Braveattack (talk) 16:10, 7 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Roberts Krūzbergs moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Roberts Krūzbergs, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). June 2023

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Darius Kasparaitis. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.sbaio 15:44, 2 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Ice_Hockey&oldid=1030578798#National_team_in_infobox
Do the Wikipedia rules stipulate that ice hockey national team players only be Olympic or World Championship players?
Association Football, Handball, Cricket, Rugby national team player articles, friendly matches and test matches are also recognized and recorded as national team records, and ice hockey players should also write them that way.
It's a exhibition game, but Darius Kasparaitis played 2 matches for the USSR national team, so it's safe to say that he is a Soviet national team player. Braveattack (talk) 16:09, 2 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
