I do not believe you are complying with the full rigour of WP:PAID. You have edited this article directly in main space. I note that you have been paid for this article

You will know the constraints upon you. Please ensure you comply with them in a future FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 21:25, 15 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Timtrent: Please explain your comment as I have never edited this article in the main space. I do follow WP:PAID and WP:COI. If your comment was about correcting typos, this is allowed by the guideline. --Bbarmadillo (talk) 03:37, 16 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
If I am mistaken, forgive me. I believe you added a picture in main space FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 08:06, 16 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Timtrent: You are correct. However, I see is an uncrontroversial edit. WP:PAID says nothing about adding images, but the whole purpose of the guideline is to stop paid editors from adding blatant advertising. In my view, adding an photograph of a dead person is very far from adding promotional content, it is just an illustration. However, if you feel otherwise, please make a post at the article's talk page as requested by the above mentioned guideline (If another editor objects for any reason, it is not an uncontroversial edit. Edits not covered by the above should be discussed on the article's talk page). --Bbarmadillo (talk) 03:51, 17 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I would, instead, mostly strongly suggest that you leave articles in mainspace entirely alone when you have been paid to create and/or edit them. I have never edited this article in the main space. is at variance with I see is an uncrontroversial edit. and suggests to me that you need to consider things more carefully. Information icon Hi Bbarmadillo! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Draftifying articles

Hello, Bbarmadillo,

If you move a newly created article to Draft space, it is helpful to admins if you tag the original page for speedy deletion, CSD R2. It puts the page in a CSD category so that admins see it and can delete the cross-space redirect. There is even a script, User:Evad37/MoveToDraft, that makes draftifying pages very easy, it moves the page, informs the page creator and tags the original page for deletion...very useful if you see yourself doing this in the future.

Thank you for your contributions and have a great New Years! Liz Read! Talk! 01:28, 1 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Liz: Thanks for the suggestion. It is always a pleasure to hear an advice from a Wikipeditian, especially from a fellow categorist Wikipeditian! I have added the script. Meryy Xmas and Happy New Year to you! --Bbarmadillo (talk) 08:27, 1 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:46, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
