Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to Girls Aloud. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Tallen90 (talk) 17:56, 23 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This image did have a fair ratinole quit tagging my images —Preceding unsigned comment added by Babylove04 (talk • contribs) 16:31, 11 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your rationale did not explain why no free image was available. In the case of current pop artists, all it takes is someone to go to a concert, take their own picture, and upload it here. You images thus fail WP:NFCC#1. In the case of album covers, the "Licensing" template is only part of the story; you also need an {{Album cover fur}} to explain minimal use, etc. Rodhullandemu 16:58, 11 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes i did too explain it was godo enough i know where i get the images from and what ratinoale to put on them i don't understand why they're not approved

Removing AFD notices

Do not remove AFD notices from articles, as you did at The Paradiso Girls. If you wish to discuss the potential deletion of the article, click the link inside the notice to comment. Repeatedly removing AFD notices is treated as vandalism.—Kww(talk) 02:58, 13 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Keshiachante beengone.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Keshiachante beengone.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. FASTILY (TALK) 03:44, 10 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Precious l.jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:Precious l.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 06:40, 11 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:702orish-1-.jpg

Thank you for uploading File:702orish-1-.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Σxplicit 02:42, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use Image:Richgirl+ side.jpg

Replaceable fair use
Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Richgirl+ side.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Aspects (talk) 22:42, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Removing image deletion templates

Please read a template before you remove it from an article or a file. The disputed fair use template you deleted from File:702 promo.jpg states "Please do not remove this tag. Note if you believe that a free replacement image cannot be reasonably found or created please add one of the following without removing this tag:{{di-replaceable fair use disputed|Your reason why a free replacement can not be found or created}}" You did not add your reason for disputing the replaceable fair use template. Speedy deletion nomination of I5 (album)

A tag has been placed on I5 (album) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. A tag has been placed on X Marks The Spot (album) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.

Falcon8765 (talk) 01:34, 5 August 2009 (UTC) Why are you already nomintaing this for deletion i'm not done editing it, so step off[reply]

The article in question wasn't deleted. -Falcon8765 (talk) 05:34, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I know that but it'sd already up for deletion and i'm n ot done editing it adding the tracklisting and sources yet. i started the article real late at night so that's why i didn't finish.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Babylove04 (talk • contribs)

No worries, if you are referring to X Marks The Spot (album) it's still there. I listed it for CSD previously because the band's name was redlinked, leading me to think the band didn't exist; however, as that was corrected, it shouldn't be deleted :). -Falcon8765 (talk) 23:30, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (File:I5 album.jpg)

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:I5 album.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. What the heck, i'm not evne done editing the page and yet you place it up for deletion that's not fair and plus it's an upcomnig album what's arong with the article please tell me

I have nominated RichGirl (album), an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/RichGirl (album). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message.  Chzz  ►  00:03, 12 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well Chzz i don't think it's fiar for you to already nominated the article for deletion when it's jsut been created the album hasn't been released and it's gone be edited when mroe information becomes available so i don't think it's fair for you to nominated it for deletion already it hasn't even been up for day

Hi there.
I notice (looking up the page) that you've had similar problems before; please understand that, the problem is, Wikipedia is "live" - as soon as you make an article in the mainspace, it is available for the whole world to see. Therefore, it has to meet certain standards that we've all agreed on.
The solution to this problem, though, is quite simple: Make the article in your own userspace first, and move it to the live area when it is ready.
To do that, create your own user subpages, such as user:Babylove04/test, user:Babylove04/RichGirl (album, user:Babylove04/whatever you want. You can click those red links and make pages. These will not be 'live' articles; they will be in your own userspace, and therefore you can play around with them as much as you like. Once they are ready to go live, you can move them. You might want to add links to these subpages on your user page - ie, if you edit that page and put something like this;
*[[user:Babylove04/test]]
*[[user:Babylove04/RichGirl (album]]
*[[user:Babylove04/whatever you want]]
...then it will be easy for you to get to them.
Please understand, there was nothing malicious in what I did; I merely followed what the policies say. In the specific case of this future album though, I think it will not be possible to create an article until it is actually released, and gets some press coverage, per WP:CRYSTAL.
For more help, you can either;
  • Leave a message on my own talk page; OR
  • Use a {{helpme}} - please create a new section at the end of your own talk page, put {{helpme}}, and ask your question - remember to 'sign' your name by putting ~~~~ at the end; OR
  • Talk to us live, with this or this.
Best wishes,  Chzz  ►  00:17, 12 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I stil; don't think it's right to already nominate it i mean look at the other articles like this that have an upcomngi album and yet those don't get nominated, i was only gonig by the info i had ans when more info came available i would polish it up more,

Starting an article here means you must establish its notability right from the start, otherwise you'll have problems like this. If there are enough reliable sources to support that, that's fine. Starting an article in the hope that sources will follow doesn't work here, unfortunately. Rodhullandemu 00:32, 12 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

well tha'ts not what i was getting at

But establishing notability is important, otherwise you will continue to have articles nominated for deletion. If you want to start an article in a sandbox until you have proper sources, that's fine; but putting it up to public view without following the necessary procedures is bound to cause you problems. Disputed non-free use rationale for File:31SQPF7HX1L SS500 .jpg

Thank you for uploading File:31SQPF7HX1L SS500 .jpg.

Thank you. — Σxplicit 04:28, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Why are you tagging this image it has a fair rationale, what;s wrong with it, untag it —Preceding unsigned comment added by Babylove04 (talk • contribs) 04:33, 22 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, I'm not tagging the image for lack of a fair use rationale, I'm tagging it because it fails WP:NFCC#3a. The image is almost identical to the original cover art and is unneeded. We have a very strict non-free content criteria policy that limits the amount of non-free images that can be used and because the image is no where near significantly different, it should remain tagged. — Σxplicit 04:46, 22 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well it is similair but is needed cause if you would've read this imsge is the japanese album cover, which was released before the original, so it shouldn't be tagged —Preceding unsigned comment added by Babylove04 (talk • contribs) 05:05, 22 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

That's pretty much the issue—the covers are too similar to one another. The alternate cover may have been used in a different region, but the difference is so minimal that adding it to the article does very little to enhance the article and falls short to satisfy the criteria listed in WP:NFCC. On an unrelated note, please don't forget to sign your posts with the four tildes (~~~~), this will automatically sign your name for you. Thank you. — Σxplicit 05:15, 22 August 2009 (UTC) well if you look at the Booty Luv article for their album Boogie2Nite that ogt the same album covers on there with different colors, and also the album for for the japanese one has five members not four, you can easily tell the difference right there[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:Chantelle Barry.jpg.

Thanks for uploading File:Blaque010.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

A tag has been placed on Alex Chester requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Jocelyn Oxlade.jpg

A tag has been placed on File:Jocelyn Oxlade.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.

Thank you. Angus McLellan (Talk) 15:16, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Keshiachante.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Keshiachante.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 13:53, 15 January 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. feydey (talk) 13:53, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed Deletion

The article Popstars (Eden's Crush album) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

duplicates content from another page

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Please explain how my page duplicates another page, show me where exactly cause well i check the Eden's Crush page and it mentions nothing like that

Speedy deletion nomination of File:The Pussycat Dolls Concert After Party.jpg

A tag has been placed on File:The Pussycat Dolls Concert After Party.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. — ξxplicit 23:35, 4 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Articles for deletion nomination of Debut (City Girls album)

I have nominated Debut (City Girls album), an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Debut (City Girls album). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Sugababes+article1215406068D5A0F000005DC.png

A tag has been placed on File:Sugababes+article1215406068D5A0F000005DC.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free image with a clearly invalid licensing tag; or it otherwise fails some part of the non-free content criteria.

If you can find a valid tag that expresses why the image can be used under the fair use guidelines, please replace the current tag with that tag. If no such tag exists, please add the {{non-free fair use in|article name that the image is used in}} tag, along with a brief explanation of why this constitutes fair use of the image. If the image has been deleted, you can re-upload it, but please ensure you place the correct tag on it.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Speedy deletion nomination of Baby Jane & The Rockabyes

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Baby Jane & The Rockabyes requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Proposed deletion of X Marks the Spot (album)

The article X Marks the Spot (album) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Album that does not meet wiki notablity

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
