Request reason:

I have realised that I should use my proper name as username so I would like to change that. I have understood that using a company name is wrong and promotional and that is not at all what I wanted to achieve. I do want to create a page for Apex Group for information reasons only. Something factual and I have made sure to add that I am linked to the company I am writing about. I understand that I may have gone about it the wrong way. I am in no way or form trying to promote the business. I just feel that it needs its page as many of the businesses it acquired have pages so it makes sense for it to have one as well. I used to contribute to Wikipedia long time ago and I would like to continue if given the opportunity/

Hi Yamla, Ok I see now what I misunderstood. I thought I could submit an article if I declared clearly that I am a connected contributor. I now understand that even then it is not recommended and this is why I am being blocked. If this is the case then, I will not try to submit anything about Apex or any other business related to Apex. I still would like to become a contributor if you would allow me. How did I demonstrate I am not capable to writing appropriately though? I really was as factual as possible. You are free to make a new unblock request and another admin will review it. The article you worked on was unambiguously promotional. Certainly not the worst I've seen, but clearly marketing rather than a neutral encyclopedia article. --Yamla (talk) 11:41, 23 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
