Hold up, why should one be referred to by their last name? Any convention or WP rule as to this? If the subject wants to be called by their first name, does their last name still have to be used instead? Natsuikomin (talk) 08:52, 30 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Nice work

Great job on Ben Nicker, I added a link to Halls Creek which I assumed is the one in WA and another to Anmatjere, Northern Territory from Aileron. Hope these are both correct. Keep up the good work! Hughesdarren (talk) 23:49, 8 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Autopatrolled

Hi there. I'm a New Page Reviewer - one of the people that marks your new articles as 'patrolled' when they come through the system. The article on Doris Blackwell was written and completed to a high standard; I note you've created more than 120 articles on Wikipedia (details here). Please so consider applying for the Autopatrolled status for your account. This means that you are a trusted article creator and your subsequent new articles won't go through the review process; this makes life easier for you and for the New Page Reviewers (as there are fewer in our backlog). It's a simple process and the form to do so is here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Requests_for_permissions/Autopatrolled. Thanks for your contributions. Good luck, best wishes etc. Zakhx150 (talk) 16:31, 18 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Aliceinthealice. You have new messages at Template:Did you know nominations/Darwin Rocksitters Club.
Message added 06:35, 6 April 2024 (UTC). You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

Hello Aliceinthealice, will you be able to address the concerns raised in the nomination page? If you can, please do so and the nomination can continue, but if not it will be marked for closure. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 07:48, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Narutolovehinata5 and apologies for the delay; I have changed the first sentence and added a citation about crocodiles in the area; it is generally accepted so I didn't contain a reference earlier (although I do know that everything needs to be cited!) and I am not sure about the quality of the reference I did add. Also as far as copy editing I am sorry but I cannot see what needs to be changed but do know my work often needs some copy editing help so if someone could make the required changes that would be much appreciated.Aliceinthealice (talk) 08:50, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Aliceinthealice. Thank you for your work on Nayombolmi. Another editor, Netherzone, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Thanks for creating this article on a fascinating Jawoyn visual artist in the tradition of rock art and bark painting. It's wonderful to learn about their work, and thanks again to bringing it to our readership.

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Netherzone}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

Also wanted to mention that I've added an infobox, and retained all the fields in the template. These can be filled in from information in the article and as newly sourced material is found. It's great to know of your work here! Netherzone (talk) 23:47, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Darwin Rocksitters Club

On 3 May 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Darwin Rocksitters Club, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the Darwin Rocksitters Club had "no funny business" as their first, third, and fifth rules? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Darwin Rocksitters Club. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Darwin Rocksitters Club), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
