Happy Leman

A tag has been placed on Happy Leman, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable (see the guidelines for notability here). If you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please write {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

Please read the criteria for speedy deletion (specifically, articles #7) and our general biography criteria. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Lijnema 23:40, 12 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion

Happy Leman has been proposed for deletion. An editor felt this person might not be notable enough for an article. Please review Wikipedia:Notability (people) for the relevant guidelines. If you can improve the article to address these concerns, please do so.

If no one objects to the deletion within five days by removing the "prod" template, the article may be deleted without further discussion. If you remove the prod template, the article will not be deleted, but if an editor is still not satisfied that it meets Wikipedia guidelines, it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Original research

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. While the Wikipedia community appreciates your obvious efforts to increase the amount of information on the site, we'd like to point out our policy against original research and for citing sources for the information you provide. This increases the reputation of Wikipedia as a whole and aids in checking the factuality of that article. --Lijnema 23:41, 12 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The article Happy and Diane Leman has been or soon will be deleted from Wikipedia. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. You might also want to read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. Image uploads

Hi. Please do not upload images that violate others' copyrights. Wikipedia does not use images from news media services. Images are only accepted if the copyright holder is willing to release the image under the GNU Free Documentation License or another compatible free license. Wikipedia content is replicated on other websites such as answers.com and about.com, as well as on CDs for education and any images must be compatible with those or any other potential use. I am assuming, from your name, that you are J Leman. If you have a photo of yourself that you own the copyright to, it would be a welcome addition, if you would be willing to release it under the GFDL. This needs to be a photo that you own the rights to, not merely one you got from your school or from a news service as those entities would own their photos. I have pasted below a standard welcome message that may be helpful for learning about Wikipedia in general. --B 16:03, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:J leman.jpeg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. License tagging for Image:Leman cap.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Leman cap.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Unspecified source for Image:Osu_goes_down.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Osu_goes_down.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 18:17, 2 January 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Calliopejen1 (talk) 18:17, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
