Hi. I'm sure you are trying to be helpful by starting a number of new articles on various Japanese subjects, but if your English ability is not really sufficient to write comprehensible articles, it might be better to ease up a bit and perhaps spend more time working on Japanese Wikipedia instead. Some of your recent edits to Kodomo Teate Law and Ōkunitama Shrine really have been quite incomprehensible, and just add a lot of work for other editors who have to come round and decode what you are trying to say. You have to remember that this is a working encyclopedia and not a place to practise your high-school English. For example, what on earth is "Majority of the people took the cake of his strong attachment for mommy in 63 years old." supposed to mean? Seriously? --DAJF (talk) 03:55, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think in the article about policy, should be used indirectly or metaphorical expression, but it will be understood only highly educated men.

Sorry, but your answer doesn't make much sense to me, and doesn't appear to answer the original question either. I think when writing Wikipedia articles, it is important to make sure that the wording is clear to all readers - not just "highly educated men". • Hi. I see you have tagged the Chichibu Railway 1000 series as requiring a cleanup to meet Wikipedia standards[1]. While I agree that the article needs expansion, I can't see what needs cleaning up in the article at present. Could you be more specific about what exactly you think needs cleaning up?
• Also, I see you have proposed merging a number of Chichibu Railway EMU articles into a single article[2]. If you seriously think that that would be a better solution, then I suggest you create a combined article on your user page first to show how the seven EMU articles could be combined, and then posting on the WikiProject Trains in Japan page to ask for comments. --DAJF (talk) 00:44, 4 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You simply added a link to the TV programme's website, which does not mention her appearance on 31 March 2008, making it impossible to verify this claim. Seriously, did you not understand what I wrote? If you cannot provide a URL that says she appeared in a costume drama on TV Tackle in March 2008, you have to leave it all out. Period. The link to the official programme site simply says that she appeared on that show. It does not mention anything about her playing a maid and certainly does not say anything about representations of rape in period drama, so unless you have another more detailed source, it has to be left out as per WP:BLP (have you actually read it?). --DAJF (talk) 08:06, 10 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

To answer your question, the change you made to the section on "Initiation ceremony" was to add:

There are several problems with this addition. The content you added has nothing to do with the subject of "initiation ceremony". The assertion is questionable - other sources would contradict it. The quality of English is very poor. The citation is meaningless for anyone who does not speak Japanese. (A citation from a non-English source is acceptable, but should be written so an English-speaker can understand what source is being used: it should show that the language is Japanese, should include translations of the title and publication name, and should give dates in English.) You have twice changed the wording in this article from "built" to "assembled", but do you understand the slight difference in meaning? The problem as I see it is that "assembled" implies that they were actually built elsewhere (like the China Railways CRH2 trains, which were built in Japan, but assembled in China). If, as it appears, English is not your first language, don't you think it might be better not to make changes that subtly alter the meaning of the text unless you fully understand the meaning of what you are writing? --DAJF (talk) 16:06, 12 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think you are ignorance of the system of assembling of railway train; you should study Hitachi Ltd. Many Japanese makers not produce components, but put the pieces together only, the small components are assembled in Japan; it is order in which the parts are assembled, then it appropriate to express assemble. You had better study Japanese industries hard. If your mother tongue is English, use sophisticated style of writing, I think you have poor vocabulary, expression, …sorry. I try using multiple languages, English, German, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese…etc. I am always taking a challenge difficult aim, and have ability of creation, while on the other hand you are always find fault of others only. Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. Hi

Can you possibly find some English links for the refs provided, or at least translate them. At present it looks as if they may all be removed as either dead or untranslated. One appears to be a comment by a private individual in response to a news article, as such it would be an unreliable source.

I have gone through them all, only two or three exist as the rest are all dead links. Can you possibly find them via archives?
