Information icon Hello, I'm Blablubbs. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Paleolithic diet, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Blablubbs (talk) 14:19, 22 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Paleolithic diet. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. OXYLYPSE (talk) 15:56, 22 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Paleolithic diet. You said "The citations are opinion pieces"--that is obviously incorrect, and if you remove that information again I will assume that you have learned that it is incorrect and yet persist, and then I will block you. Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Paleolithic diet shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Suggestion on editing the Paleo Diet page

Hi, I'm a fellow paleo proponent. I've seen some of your efforts on changing the paleo diet page. Seeing that according to Wikipedia's statistics, the article had 476,000 views in the last year, I really appreciate what your trying to do. I would do the same if I was less lazy. but you're doing it wrong. It's true, the article is full of antagonistic "gatekeepers" that revert most pro - paleo edits. But there is a way to deal with that, you got to convince them in the talk page, not start an edit war. To do that, I recommend you first create a Wikipedia user and check the guidelines. That way you'll be taken a lot more seriously and could make a better case for yourself. The whole thing is like a court case - all you gotta do is show them the Wikipedean "laws" point in your direction. Remember that while they are antagonistic, they are still smart and approachable people.

Sidenote:

Some suggested edits:

1. Calling the paleo diet a "fad diet", while it has been consumed for ~200,000 years is absolutely mad. Talk
2. The sentence "As of 2014 there was no evidence the paleo diet is effective in treating inflammatory bowel disease.[25]". First of all, this is a clear red-herring, as it doesn't prove or disprove anything. The cited paper literally says: "There are no formal published studies on the benefits of either the SCD or Paleo diets in the management or prevention of IBD", and only has one citation containing the phrase "paleo" in it's 67 cited studies - and it's the original 1985 paper. Second of all, this paper from 2017 says: "In conclusion, our study demonstrates that dietary modification focused on elimination of potentially immunogenic or intolerant food groups has the potential to improve symptoms and endoscopic inflammation in patients with IBD. Dietary change can be an important adjunct to IBD therapy not only to achieve remission but perhaps improve the durability of response and remission". It also says: "The autoimmune protocol (AIP) diet is an extension of the Paleolithic diet". A user by the name of Tylotyler pointed the 2017 study out Alexbrn. Alexbrn said it is irrelevant because it's a primary source (which has truth, but the double standards obviously show considering the quality of the 2014 paper). As you can see, the article remained the same.

Last of all, you can see this wonderful website (currently on hiatus) for some good research: http://darwinian-medicine.com . I'm pretty sure this is the most conclusive article Eirik has written about the paleo diet. — Preceding unsigned comment added by אקראי אחר (talkcontribs) 13:48, 24 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Another side note - I think reading about WP:GAME and pointing it out to them will be of great help. — Preceding unsigned comment added by אקראי אחר (talkcontribs) 17:49, 24 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
