Primary sources

Hi, firstly thank you for your edits. However regarding this edit I notice that you replaced a news source with an official FIA document. In other words you replaced a secondry source with a primary one. Although primary sources (e.g. FIA documents) are acceptable secondry sources (e.g. news articles) are prefered over primary sources as explained at wp;primary. In other words you can use FIA documents but another source is preferable. Thanks again for your work.

Information icon Hello, I'm Walter Görlitz. I noticed that you recently removed content from Germany national football team without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Yes, I know, I removed September 2018 matches because now we are in September 2019... I did the same also on Italy national team page.--87.17.106.213 (talk) 21:35, 5 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Yes I saw what you did and you even explained it, but it's not necessary. Walter Görlitz (talk) 21:37, 5 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I'm sorry. I did this edit because I remember last year an user did the same. So, I re-did it for 2018-2019 year.--87.17.106.213 (talk) 21:39, 5 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I restored also Italy national football team page.--87.17.106.213 (talk) 21:44, 5 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
