The recent undiscussed page move & other changes resulted in a bit of a chaos at Jat people. And your not so well-thought-out page move requests will create even more chaos. So I request you to get more experience by editing some other articles/pages for the next two/three weeks before making any type of new request at Jat people. That way you will have a better understanding of the WP policies. And the article will also get a bit stabilised. Thanks.

If you are creating an article, remember few points:

• If the subject meets WP:GNG or WP:BASIC, i.e. there are either around three in-depth sources or a healthy number of sources containing non-trivial coverage, then you can create an article. Note that sources in either case should be independent & reliable.
• If there are not clear signs of them meeting GNG/BASIC, then they should meet WP:NPROF in the case of scholars. Normally, if a scholar's work has recieved at least three/four scholarly reviews, then they may be suitable for a biography. Similarly, let's say, if an ethnographer's couple of works have been cited around 100 times by others, then also they may be suitable for a biography. Firstly, as far as getting details regarding the editors of journal articles like this one is concerned, you can see there are a couple of links right above the pic of the journal: "The Journal of ... / Vol. 71, No. 28... / A Sikh Village". If you will click on the first link (The Journal of ...), it will take you to the main page of the journal, which contains links of all of its previous issues. As you are interested in specific details of the issue in question, you should click on the second link, namely "Vol. 71, No. 28...". That will take you to the "Table of Contents" of the issue, where you should click on the "Front Matter", which will take you to the initial pages which have the details about editors.

Secondly, if there are multiple editors/authors, you can use the |display-editors=/|display-authors= parameter to control the display of the names of editors/authors in a citation (see Template:Cite book for more details).

Thirdly, regarding the "Notable works" parameter of the infobox, the notability at this project is determined by the independent coverage, e.g. if there are multiple, in-depth reviews of a book, then it will be considered as a notable work – see WP:BOOKCRIT. So, in the case of Stephen Fuchs, there are at least half a dozen notable works, as all of them have at least three in-depth scholarly reviews. I guess listing that many works in the infobox seem unnecessary unless someone bothers to create separate articles for them. And I won't suggest you to create those articles, as that will take a lot of effort. Having said that, if you want to create an article about a book you like, you can learn from some high-quality articles listed at Category:FA-Class Book articles. You may also find some helpful details at Wikipedia:WikiProject Books. To sum up, I guess you can list those works at "Notable works" parameter of the infobox which meet WP:BOOKCRIT, even if none of them have a WP article. But it's up to you to decide.

Finally, if you want to search articles/reviews of/by/about some scholar at JSTOR, you can do that in the following two ways: au:"Stephen Fuchs" & ti:"Stephen Fuchs". I have used this method to locate 50-odd scholarly reviews of Fuchs' works, and I have listed them at Talk:Stephen Fuchs#Some reviews of his works. This is a list of rules i found interesting.

• An RfC should last until enough comment has been received that consensus is reached, or until it is apparent it won't be.

There is no required minimum or maximum duration; however, Legobot assumes an RfC has been forgotten and automatically ends it (removes the rfc template) 30 days after it begins, to avoid a buildup of stale discussions cluttering the lists and wasting commenters' time.

• RfCs are a way to attract more attention to a discussion about making changes to pages or procedures, including articles, essays, guidelines, policies, and many other kinds of pages. It uses a system of centralized noticeboards and random, bot-delivered invitations to advertise discussions to uninvolved editors. The normal talk page guidelines apply to these discussions.

• Try not to be confrontational. Be friendly and civil, and assume good faith of other editors' actions.

• Edits to content under RfC discussion may be particularly controversial. Avoid making edits that others may view as unhelpful. Editing after others have raised objections may be viewed as disruptive editing or edit warring. Be patient; make your improvements in accord with consensus after the RfC is resolved.
• Like other discussions, RfCs sometimes end without an agreement or clear resolution. Please remove the {{rfc}} tag when the dispute has been resolved, or when discussion has ended.

I hope you don't mind if I share some of my thoughts on starting out as a new editor on Wikipedia: If I could get editors in your situation to follow just one piece of advice, it would be this: Learn Wikipedia by working only on non-contentious topics until you have a feel for the normal editing process and the policies that usually come up when editing casually. You'll find editing to be fun, easy, and rewarding. The rare disputes are resolved quickly and easily in collaboration.

Working on biographical information about living persons is far more difficult. Wikipedia's Biographies of living persons policy requires strict adherence to multiple content policies, and applies to all information about living persons including talk pages.

If you have a relationship with the topics you want to edit, then you will need to review Wikipedia's Conflict of interest policy, which may require you to disclose your relationship and restrict your editing depending upon how you are affiliated with the subject matter. Regardless, editing in a manner that promotes an entity or viewpoint over others can appear to be detrimental to the purpose of Wikipedia and the neutrality required in articles.

Some topic areas within Wikipedia have special editing restrictions that apply to all editors. It's best to avoid these topics until you are extremely familiar with all relevant policies and guidelines.

If you work from reliable, independent sources, you shouldn't go far wrong. WP:RSP and WP:RSN are helpful in determining if a source is reliable.

She has taught Anthropology at Cologne University and is acting Head of Department, Anthropology, University of Heidelberg.

Aparna Rao has taught anthropology at the University of Cologne and acted as Head of Department, Ethnology, at the South Asia Institute, University of Heidelberg. Her otchestvo is Абра́мовна. About the otchestvo Алекса́ндровна, the only logical explanation I have is that it would have been changed by her at some point of time in her life. The changes in her name might have been done by her to do, if I may say, Russian-ization of her identity. I am guessing that she did so either because of some of the social conditions of that time or for some other reason(s) related to the progress in her career/profession. Such changes were not very common but they did take place (sometimes during the time of the Russian Empire and sometimes during the time of the USSR), though the reason(s) for doing so might have varied from person to person. For the psalms: the image has appeared with Psalm 95 for a long time, but was replaced yesterday. It doesn't come up on the commons for that specific psalm, which is explained if the image deals with several psalms. It's a pretty and impressive image, I wonder for what we could use it. - For the opera: I didn't translate but write from scratch. What you might do is check if it contradicts the Russian, or if there is something in Russian that would urgently be needed in English also. I went over his symphonies because Symphony No. 6 (Prokofiev) (not by me, any of them) will be pictured on the Main page in a few minutes. Several questions you can perhaps answer, and never mind if not.

• Some use day/month format, others month/day format. Is there some consistency wanted for people from the area/period? ... and which?
• Some have vague information about the premiere (the earlier the vaguer), and I don't find it in German and French. Is there something more about places and orchestras in the Russian versions?
• One date is given as 21 April in the lead, but 18 April in the text. Can you verify that probably 21 is correct?
• Any more detail about dedication, durations, publiscations welcome.

Guten Abend, Gerda Arendt. What I can tell you is that when my business is with the Slavic people, I usually use the DMY format. For other peoples, I use the MDY format. And, no one has ever complained If you have a specific question, you may ask, and I would get you a solid answer.

Hi, I just wanted to make a quick comment about your username. As per Wikipedia:Username policy, a non-Latin username is allowed, but can be problematic. From Wikipedia:Signatures;

I understand your username is apparently Russian, and (roughly) translates to "Master Storm". I'm not sure what the significance of that is to you, but if you would consider adding that, or another Latinized name or word to your signature, it would make interacting with you a great deal easier for your fellow editors. To attach a Latinized word or name to your signature, just go to "Preferences", and on the first page, under "User Profile", scroll down to "Signatures". There you will see a text box where you can customize your signature to your liking (you will notice a large number of unique, colorful and creative signatures among the various talk pages here) and you will be able to modify your signature with an add-on in Latin script that will help others identify you and communicate with you. Hello, I understand this topic has kept you busy for the last few days. I am sorry for that. But I wouldn't be insisting on these edits unless I was very familiar with the subject. Recently, you reworded the sentence to something else. I have no problem. You can even write that Bhats were kings(if you can find a source), I don't care. As I told you earlier, other sources can be provided which are be in conflict with what's on the page. I do not want to do any of that.

I just have one small issue, which I have tried to explain multiple times: just leave out the 'Charan' term from the page. This is not personal or some agenda. Because as I said, I can provide other sources to negate it. But it will damage the structure and readability of the page.
