London Landmarks

In London there are a lot of Landmarks.  Like the London eye, Houses of  Parliament and The Tower of  London.

There are lots of people visiting London and everyday at Buckingham Palace they change the guard.

The Shard is the tallest building in London. It is a 95 storey skyscraper in Southwark. It is the 4th biggest in the world.

In the shard they have a coffee shop and a hotel and lots of restaurants.

In London there is a big tower with a clock called Big Ben. It is connected to the Houses of Parliament.

The London Eye is a ride when you get to the top, you can see the whole of London. It is a giant Ferris wheel on the south bank of the Thames.

Westminster Abbey is a large Gothic Abbey in the city of Westminster.

The River Thames is a large river in England. It goes through London, the capital city of England.

How to get to and around London.

You can get to London by using a car, a train or a bus!

If you come from far away you can take an aeroplane to Heathrow Airport.

You can also get a boat ride in London!

Did you know that Tower Bridge was built in 1886 and it crosses the River Thames near the Tower of London.
