I am currently a MD/PhD student at the University of California, San Diego. I received my Ph.D. in Bioengineering after writing my dissertation on the physiological basis of functional MRI. I expect to finish my M.D. in June 2015 after which I will enter residency.

Previously, I played international rugby for the USA Eagles 7s and 15s teams. I am now refereeing rugby and enjoy contributing to the sport and community that gave so much to me.
