You recently made a note on my user page that you intended to add to the History of Gaza article a sentence as follows:

Apart from a very small part in the exreme north-east, the Gaza Strip was included in the area allocated to the proposed Arab state by the 1947 United Nations Partition Plan for Palestine. Trahelliven (talk) 21:24, 17 November 2012 (UTC)

You stated that this edit was based on a comparison of the two maps in the article suggesting that there is a tiny corner in the extreme north-east originally allocated to the proposed Jewish State. I have not researched the question and have no opinion one way or the other about this subarea, but suggest that you should find a secondary source that supports this statement rather than relying on your own research.--Federalist51 (talk) 22:41, 24 November 2012 (UTC)

Hello. You need to correct the year mentioned in the first paragraph of the article "1947–48 Civil War in Mandatory Palestine". The correct date is 29 November 1947, not 29 November 1949. Should be fairly obvious. Thanks in advance. Best regards, DTT
