Maybe I'll "Wikify" this page later, for now...my name is Andrew. I am 33 years old, married, and have a 19 month-old son (as of February 7, 2007). My wife is pregnant with our second child who is due in mid-August 2007. We have two cats, of the domestic shorthair variety.

We live in Alexandria, Virginia on the fringe of the area called Old Town. Gadsby's Tavern is always a favorite for Sunday Brunch, and when we need to wet our whistles, Rustico is always ready to satisfy with one of its wide selection of the world's beers. Physical fitness is always a must, and the Mount Vernon Trail gives us access to miles and miles of paved bike and running path, permitting exercise without the constant hassle of traffic. Doing our part to help bring about a Low-carbon economy is easy since the DASH, Metrobus, and Washington Metro (rail rapid transit) service are easy to use. We are seriously contemplating replacing the "old-school" gasoline engined car we drive with a hybrid, we can't wait—50+ mpg in the city!

I am a U.S. Army Officer, and am currently going to graduate school full-time, pursuing a Masters Degree in the field of international relations, focusing on defense policy.

My interest here at Wikipedia is editing military themed articles, cycling articles, and things about our home state, Michigan.
