I'm a volcanologist specializing in geochemistry and geochronology of young volcanic rocks. I work mainly on andesitic to dacitic systems. I have found Wikipedia to be a great jumping off point for many of the fundamentals of geology. I plan to help expand Wikipedia's igneous geology section.
