I am Rishabh Tatiraju, a male in early twenties residing in Pune, India. I've been editing Wikipedia since 2010, primarily focusing on tropical cyclones. I'm pursuing a graduate degree in computer engineering from the University of Pune, and aspire to specialise in mobile app development in the near future. Apart from tropical cyclones and meteorology, my interests include singing, photography, astronomy and blogging.

Why Wikipedia?

I support the notion that every person in this world has the right to learn about anything free of cost. I'm here to share some information to the entire globe so that someone else can benefit from my work. For me, Wikipedia is the best way to serve the entire globe.

Tropical cyclone articles constitute most of my edits in Wikipedia. At times, I enjoy writing about hill forts, structures, bridges, roadways of India and Indian Railways. I'm a frequent Wikimedia Commons contributor, where I mainly upload tropical cyclone satellite images derived from NASA.
