Not much to see here. I contribute to Wikipedia in small ways here and there, I'm not exactly a "diehard wikihead" or whatever.

I will usually argue against deletion of almost any article which is proposed for deletion. Since the terms - such as "notability" - that are used to determine whether an article belongs or not are so nebulous, there will always be controversy about keeping things. But philosophically I'd always rather err on the side of being more inclusive than exclusive.

Some people argue that having extraneous "fluff" information makes wikipedia less meaningful, but I disagree wholeheartedly with that sentiment. Any data contained by wikipedia which is useless to an individual can simply be ignored by that individual. My feeling is more like "If it might be useful to one person, it's better to have it than not have it."

IOW, put me squarely in the "inclusionist" camp... I am a mortal enemy of that being known as a "deletionist."
